It is Friday, a work day, non holiday. The website says they are open. I just drove two hours to be welcomed by a locked door. No one has answered the phone, or responded to my voicemail. I think everyone can appreciate not having a supplier waste their time, you have wasted half of my day. I am not happy with their customer service at all. I hate vermeer products but you are pushing your customers away with garbage customer service.

Unfortunetly, we made the mistake of paying in full so you can imagine how helpful this company is when the chipper they gaureented was in great shape, only used for "demo" wasn't running right not once, twice, but three separate times ! Not to mention, the long lengths of time it took to get back my equipment back with absolutely no sense of urgency! If you care about your business at all look somewhere else !

These people are out to get your money and send you packing! My husband and I payed 33,000 dollars to help meet our business demand. Thus far this brand new "demo only" chipper has been repaired MULTIPLE times and still isn't running right. All the dealership has offered after multiple eight to ten hour drives to Portland and countless missed work days is to take the chipper in on consignment and let us know from there. Please Really know what you're getting from these people. I hope by posting this we save someone else the finically crippling service this business is selling!

We often get many of our supplies here and have been extremely happy with their growing selection of equipment

Excellent arborist and orchard tools for professional landscape maintenance. Guys behind the counter knowledgeable are topnotch. The have decent prices, lots of parking for trucks with equipment trailers or chippers

Only because they sell Bandit Equipment did they sneak the second star in there. I have been forced to place orders with PCI in Oregon because of their proximity to me (says bandit in Remus Michigan). I have placed orders with them now 5 times all of which have been a nightmare because imagine this they don't know the equipment, they just sell it. After insisting that you have your serial number EVERY TIME (no computers there guys?) they botch the order. I was on an important Hwy Dist job in Boise and had 2 pockets for a 2700 grinder overnighted to finish a job for a contractor who took the day off to let me finish...oops sorry, but we are still going to charge you the $100 for overnighting the pockets you already had in your shop. We as business owners try to have backup parts for everything and when we don't we pay the outrageous overnight costs to keep our customers happy, it's just a shame that the gents over at PCI don't feel the same. Maybe legalizing pot wasn't such a grand idea after all eh!?

PCI Equipment is a supplier to arborists and tree surgeons. They are also all about recycling materials. That is a very specialized niche compared to most business reviews on Yelp. But if you have a yard with fruit trees or other under 15 foot trees in need of pruning or harvesting, they have the awesome Hasegawa orchard tripod ladders from Japan. There is no excuse if you are in search of an orchard ladder / tripod ladder to not purchase here. The price is low, the weight is best in the world, the resale value is great and they are local. You can get step ladders, extension ladders and the bendy-foldy ladders at the home despot, pro tool stores and used tool stores. But if you are looking for an orchard, tripod or three leg ladder, your options are limited. And on Craigs they are expensive. There are even some old rickety wood ones offered for an arm and a leg, which is what you will lose when they break, at minimum. PCI Equipment is the only stocking distributor in the area for these super lightweight and stable ladders. Did I say lightweight? They are unbelievably lightweight! The Hasegawa ladders are welded from precision aluminum tubing with x-rayed welds. Ridiculous Japanese quality we love. Because that is how the world should be! The Japanese Garden, the Chinese Garden and fruit growers are faithful customers of these ladders. And PCI's price on these very ladders is very, very, very reasonable. PCI has chain saws, pruning saws, extension bypass pruners, pole saws, hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, climbing- arborist- lineman- harnesses, climbing rope, throw ropes and weights. I've done some outdoor rock climbing, and the equipment and suppliers cross over to tree climbing. Cool. If you need one, they have giant chippers and all the parts to repair them. Definitely a Halloween item! They can order more than they stock and have a nifty catalog covering all. They only stock pro stuff that will last, not cheap tools found at big boxes. And they have their very own demonstration tree right in the middle of the warehouse! Try the climb stuff out (if you are a pro). It's somewhat a clubhouse for arborists who discuss tools and the trade when they cross paths at PCI. I spent some time with the staff discussing the ladders and their other products. Very helpful and knowledgeable. PCI is a great source for professional arborists, but better, they are a great source for lightweight landscape maintenance tripod ladders at very, very advantageous prices.
