I rented a Garrett Ace 250 metal detector from Parkrose. Do not waste your money on that machine. it is a cheap detector that would sound alerts almost everywhere for a while, then go back over the same area and no alerts. Good service from the rental staff though. Oh, and I saw they have a New Seasons Market shopping cart that they placed a Parkrose tag on it to make it their own. I wonder if they paid New Season's a $100 fee to take their cart.

Without getting too specific, I think it would be great to get a price match if a customer is buying in bulk. I would venture to say that customers would buy other product as well. Best hardware store in NE.

This is my go-to place when my local hardware store does not have what I need. I live all the way across Portland, but I know if I go to Parkrose Hardware I will not have to go any farther.

I regularly shop at Parkrose Hardware for all of my maintenance and repair needs. After todays visit, I won't ever shop there again. I was asked to leave because I didn't accept the old man's help so that made me suspicious? Ok. I asked why, what did I even do? Their response "we don't need a reason, it's private property, you need to leave. I pulled out my wallet to show them I had cash, asked if they preferred debit or credit. They didn't care. Thank your security for loosing another valued customer.

I rented a lawn aerator. The aerator provided had a bad wheel and it fell off about one-third of the way through the job. They should have caught the faulty wheel ahead of time. Additionally, I got only a very small discount and no apology upon return. The staff mumbled something about that there was always something breaking down. Also, the access to the back of the store where rentals are picked up is one way, so it is a big pain if you are using a trailer for pick up. The staff is slow and not particularly helpful. Not recommended.

Came in this morning looking for a very certain bolt/nut/rubber washer/metal bushing combo. I didn’t catch his name, but the gentleman who helped me was amazing! Thank you so much for all your help I would have been there for ages searching if you weren’t there.

I usually love park rose hardware. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful. Today, however, the woman behind the counter who was ringing me up went on an unprompted rant bashing Christians and promoting LGBT issues. It got to the point that even her male coworker was shaking his head and apologized to me on her behalf as I was leaving. I am not one to complain and make a big deal of things but this was very unprofessional and just flat out gross.

Best hardware store in the PDX area. The selection is always great and I've never had a problem finding what I am looking for. Everything is clean and well organized. The majority of the people working are always very friendly and personable and eager to help find things. There are a few however that are more on the curt side and aren't the warmest, but the others make up for it.The plant selection is hands down my favorite though because of pricing, quality and sizing. I almost don't even want to mention it because I consider this place a hidden gem with plants, lol.

Affordable prices and an extensive range of fasteners - nuts, bolts, screws, washers, brass, stainless, standard ("Imperisal") and metric. Everything but the most specialized fastener hardware. Fantastic power tool selection. Stihl brand yard and garden tools, power tool repairs, and rentals (rented a Stihl pole saw from them). Work clothes and barbecue grills. Good pkace to find "DryLok" paint as well. Very polite staff, treat you like a friend and neighbor.

Buyer Beware.I was told by an associate over the phone to come in to store before 6pm. He would take care of my key replacement in less than 1 minuite.I had to drive pretty far, my truck gets 8.5 mpg.You could imagine how I must of felt when arriving at 5:57pm.Next,As I made my way to the door I was greeted by a very, rude, undesirabley dressed manager guy named Noah.Noah begin shouting, the store is closed Sir.At this pointe I was very shocked. I felt somewhat infected by the negativity oozing from Noah.Park Rose hardware should not have this kind of representative.

WOW! They probably have everything. Tim Taylor, the Tool Time version, would have thought that he died and Parkrose Hardware was heaven.
