I've been coming to this store for many years! I just love this place! Great prices, awesome selection and amazing staff! I'd like to recognize one particular staff member that stands out. Her name is Allie and she can be found most days in the book room sorting out books and adding to the seldom empty bookshelves. Since she started working there the book department has become so much easier to navigate! Also, she really takes pride in her work and takes interest in the customers. She even asked me my name and asked me what kind of books I like! When I come so when I visit, she can point me in the right direction. I buy a lot of books from PACS because I sell books for a living. In the past, I would shop at PACS about twice a month. Now I'm there nearly every day directly because its so much better because of her energy there! Keep up the amazing work! I appreciate you!

While I haunt this thrift weekly and never leave empty handed since it is a fundraiser for a food bank (plus my mom is an Adventist and I have good feelings about them generally), it is a very old fashioned charity shop with unusual things and good prices. The music they play is pretty cloying, most often that type of light fake-classical elevator music dentists offices would play in the 80s, so that's a trip. Most of the regular volunteers are absolutely lovely, but a new one was extraordinarily passive aggressive with me for no reason - which I get because it's a volunteer position and people can be jerks - she overcharged me for the exact amount of the bill I was holding in my hand rather than the sum of the items I had and made no effort to correct her mistake when I called her attention to it. I'm sort of used to people doing things like this recently bc I cut my hair short and it seems people infer something from that and act in an ugly, bigoted way, so take that for what you will.
