I am very pleased with the service. The knowledgeable attention to detail is unsurpassed. I had to have the engine replaced in my Jeep. I was told it would be about 3 weeks. I had it back in 2 weeks. This all took place during a snow/ice event which lasted over a week. I am throughly impressed!

I have relied on Pacific Car Care for over 20 years. I had a problem making the engine light come on while I was in Bandon at 4pm on a Friday! I called my heroes for advice.
I found out that unless the engine light is blinking, it is safe to drive.
When I went in on Monday it was quickly diagnosed as a bad sensor. The repair was done quickly at a very reasonable price.
THANKS SO MUCH!?

Don't come here for service if you are a woman. As someone who knows cars and is a woman, they overcharge for parts and labor, and take advantage of the fact that you look like you don't know what you're talking about. I asked them to look over everything for me, and give me a quote. I'm no stranger to the industry and I know that if I don't want to do the work myself I need to cushion the parts with at least $3-400 in labor. However, they quoted me for nearly $2600 worth of work (most of which didn't need to be done immediately) and the work that did need to be done more urgently rounded out to about $1800 for only my rear brakes, a headlight, spark plugs and an oil valve. For their additional "recommendations" which made the total closer to $2600 they said I would need windshield wipers, front brakes, and license plate lights. This was already extremely overpriced and unrealistic but since I was on a time crunch I agreed to pay it. The following morning, they called to inform me that while they were completing the repairs we had agreed upon, they found that an additional part was corroded and needed to be replaced. No one ever called to inform me of this repair, or ask for my consent to install a new part. The additional charge? $111. Please don't waste your time or money coming here, these men will milk you for all you're worth.

Meticulous and thourough. My minivan started making stranmge noises, that the beaverton dealer could not idenifty. The PCC team checked multiple things , at no extra charge to figure out the problem. Fees were stated clearly and no surpises. They even gave me a ride home during the repair.

Great service and great price. They also don't try to sell you something you don't need, which it's tough to find!

Ken and his staff are very honest , and do not tell you things that are not necessary. He knows I work on cars myself and gives me the basic facts. The price is fair, good work is not cheap. My daughter goes there also and he has really helped her. They also get on the work fast with a good response time immediately after they find what needs to be done when you bring your vehicle in.

Writing this review for my boyfriend. Giving 2 stars only because they did fix the issue, but customer service was so insanely bad.
My boyfriend took his Tacoma in to have his headlights fixed. He very clearly explained that this was the only issue he was bringing his car in for, both verbally and wrote down what he needed fixed. It’s a 1st gen Tacoma and has some minor issues, but we aren’t rich and are fixing one thing at a time. The owner, Ken, very rudely talked over him, listing everything HE thought should be fixed on his car instead. My boyfriend insisted he just wanted the lights fixed for now, and said he would come back later for the other little things that could use love.
He had already replaced the relay himself and told them not to bother with that. He got a call after a few hours and they told him they had spent the 1st hour testing the relay, the one thing he specifically mentioned twice didn’t need tested. Keep in mind that they charge $135/ hour! So when he came to pick up his fixed car, he politely asked for that hour to be taken off. Ken lost it, had a horrible attitude, and snapped “fine! take it off! I don’t care!”, slamming the bill down on the counter and storming out.
It’s not our fault that you spent an hour working on the wrong issue! Never in my life have I had such a bad customer experience! To be snapped at and have the receipt for a $1,300+ bill physically slammed down at us because YOU wasted an hour is INSANE. I’ve worked customer service for 10 years, I am very aware that the customer is almost always wrong, but in this case I think it’s pretty cut and dry. If we were in the wrong, I would hope the proprietor would choose discussing things calmly instead of snapping at us and getting aggressive.
Never spending another cent here again.

Took my car into to get looked at for DEQ, told them what was going on but they didn’t even bother looking at my car. Just told me straight up that it would cost me 3 grand to fix my catalytic converter. Again, they didn’t even bother inspecting the car, so I took it down the road to A1 exhaust and they quoted me $650 for parts a labor for the exact same thing…with a free inspection and 5 year warranty.

My AC wasn't working. They had some time in the afternoon, and found I had no refrigerant - none, nada. They did a partial charge to look for leaks, then fully charged with a dye and asked me to check back in a few hundred miles to follow up.
They were fast, explained clearly, and charged fairly. Trustworthy, knowledgeable shop!
