The employees are wonderful - so helpful and easy to talk to. I end up going into the bricks and mortar because it is difficult to deposit into my account from other banks. That's my only complaint.

On point member services phone number takes forever to get ahold of someone. Their mobile deposit sucks too. They take forever to process mobile deposits over the weekend. Don't use their mobile deposit on their terrible app unless u wanna wait for days for them to process a check. Imo on point isn't that great of a financial institution. Onpoint is kind of slow operation. They only got people working 9 to 5. Unlike chase which process deposits 24/7 and u can get a hold of someone 24/7. Small banking with onpoint SUCKS

I've been with OnPoint since it was Portland Teacher's CU. I've always had good service but in the last few years I've been more frequent at the Hillsdale branch. Everyone is nice and friendly, but when someone like Ashton goes above and beyond, when you begin to think of them like a friend, it has a special feel. Thank you, Ashton, for being so awesome.

The folks working here just handled a big and growing line with ease. Branch manager even stepped out and helped the next person in line.

Hillsdale branch is SKETCHY. Opened and closed a checking account in 3 days. After the account was open, they were trying to get into my credit report and wouldn't admit it. They keep saying "oh we just need your past address" well there's only one reason for that. They are also super incompetent had to show my id no less than 8 times in 10 minutes. They lie, they're sketchy and I hope they get shut down

Pretty good. Banked there my entire life…from before when it was a bank out of Sandy, Oregon “Portland Teachers Credit Union” those were “the good ol’ days”…I suppose? ?

The people are good but mobile check deposits should be instant. Not 1-2 business days. Instant.

Beware of hidden fees and unfulfilled promises. I opened a checking and savings account. I found an overdraft fee while still having money in both accounts. Personally I don't think getting charged for having a company use my money is a good business practice. Thankfully I never got the checks I was expecting to obtain. The process of closing my accounts took much longer than I expected. Thankfully to my surprise I was left a note on my car by Warden investment company (saying that I would be towed next time my car was in the parking lot). I was told that the OnPoint parking lot was for people conducting business in the Hillsdale business district. It was a wonderful reminder that I should bank where my business will be appreciated.

This is the best credit union and Sellwood branch bank manager Tara Cunningham is the best manager I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with!If you're on the fence about getting an account, DON'T go with the "too big to fail" crooks, CHOOSE ONPOINT!!!!I am a native Portlander, and I approve this message!

I've been with Onpoint since for 15 years, back when they were Portland Teachers Credit Union. I am extremely pleased with their services. Everyone I've encountered at the different locations have been very helpful. I fell into a scam and ended up 3K in the red some years ago. They worked with me graciously and with compassion until I was back in the black. <3They have my loyalty and business, they always will.My suggestion, go and be part of the Community of the Credit Union that is Onpoint :).

I called to talk about being unable to make my payment because of loss of income due to COVID, and ask why they charged my outside bank account 2 days before the authorized date. The guy implied that I should be out working for Uber still because "covid is getting better" and then told me I should call back when I'm "not so upset" when I reacted to him saying that. One google search will show you that covid cases in Oregon are still higher than ever (100+ new cases a day is not "better").
