This bank has wasted hours of my time through their ignorant policies. I have cashed many checks from a client at this location only to have them leave me at the counter for 20+ minutes because of a signatory error. They treated me like a criminal and wasted 30 minutes of my time instead of just being open with me. If I hadn't already cashed a dozen checks at this branch from the same client I would understand their caution, but the manager justified his disrespect of my time with security policy. This bank would rather try to arrest potentially violent criminals inside the branch, putting all staff and clients in jeopardy, then be upfront with people about issues with a check. So I guess if you don't mind having your safety at risk because of bank managers with hero complex who won't be upfront with people this is absolutely the credit union for you. Could just as easily write individuals license plates down and notify authorities but that makes too much sense I'm guessing.

They deposited my money into Someone Else's ACCOUNT!!!I went to the Clackamas Onpoint, next to Target in the promenade. I brought in 2 checks (both in my name) and $400 in cash to deposit into my account. I told the teller my member number, code word, and gave her my Drivers license. I thought this was deposited into my account. Imagine my surprise when I got home and noticed that it wasn't THERE! I looked at my receipt and noticed the account number did not match mine. I had to go back to rectify the situation. They did let me know that it was a teller error and moved the money into my account.I would have used an ATM, but I have had issues where their ATM's don't deposit all of my cash and it has taken weeks to get it back. During that time, they advised me to see a teller when I am depositing large sums of cash. I have been a member of Onpoint since it was the Portland Teachers. So, I am giving them 1 star because I truly expected better customer service. I would have thought that the Branch Manager would have come over and apologized. However, they stayed in their glass cubicles and didn't even acknowledge me. It is Christmas time and that was a lot of money that was mishandled by them. They blew it off and pretended that it wasn't a big deal. Now, granted, I'm a nice person, so I wasn't making a scene. However, I have to agree with other reviews on here that Onpoint is not making an effort to keep customers.

OnPoint best community bank they address Portland,OR and Vancouver,WA area. The main focus of the bank is helping the community. If you are new Bank user they are my best.

Have been members since they were Portland Teachers CU. Great products and service. This is more convient than the old location behind the mLlll by the Tranist/Max.I do like how they have opened branches in Fred Meyer's.

Worst systems in place and bad customer service!!!! I work 7am to 7 pm on most days during the week and I need to make a lot of phone payments and was just told if I make a payment using another banks card I would be charged 15$ to do so which I think is totally ridiculous to charge anything when making a payment …first started with on point 5 years ago and bought a 60k truck and they had great rates great customer service made me feel great how accepting they where and how easy the process was I recently paid that truck off in full and tried to buy another truck and my how things have changed I don’t even know the words to say how bad I’m just glad they have denied me so I could get a better deal elsewhere ..this is not a place u want to stay with long term and grow with definitely don’t have your best interest in mind I was a 5 year member in good standing payed on time and payed off truck early and that wasn’t even considered I would have liked this to be my one stop shop for all my banking needs house cars credit cards and retirement etc but I’m glad I’m not waisting any more time with these place and I hope no one else does either

As a 30+ year member of OnPoint, I must have been spoiled. Today’s experience here WAS THE WORST. Member Services Rep (clear glasses) was patronizing, rude-had to find something wrong with us, our needed service, other OnPoint branches, and self absorbed (who cares if you drive a Mercedes)

Had an absolutely horrific experience at the Clackamas, OR branch today. We were in the process of selling our vehicle that had a balance on the loan through OnPoint. We asked the gal at the front with the short red hair a few questions and were blown away by how incredibly rude she was. I'm fairly certain her job was "customer advocate" or something along those lines, which is ironic. She then directed us to the tellers, who were also cold and dismissive. We left and took care of the transaction at another bank as this bank was anything but helpful. I know this is likely just a branch issue, at least I hope. A little bit of kindness and compassion goes a long way. It appears the entire branch could use a course in customer service.

This bank was horrible when I had to close out my moms account upon her death. From what the estate attorney told me later it was borderline illegal. I did more than I needed too for them and they would not provide me with items required by law until I went and sat at the bank after a week of calling them and being ignored. My mom was in good standing with all of her accounts and loyal to them. The unprofessionalism was on their side. I had the “privilege” of working with a few branches while I settled her estate. This isn’t your typical personal service and care credit union. Try Clackamas credit union or River mark instead.

I was SO happy with the service I received on Friday 09/25/20. First off the branch is beautiful and very clean (with hand sanitizer available when you walk in) and the customer service was just wonderful. I wish this branch was my neighborhood branch! I was helped by Hannah, and her service was top notch. This girl was answering all my questions before I even got the chance to voice them! She was a wealth of information on all types of accounts, which was really nice and more than a little impressive. As a new(ish) member, I really appreciated how helpful and knowledgeable she was - but even more I got the feeling that she really wanted to help make my day easier. I'm really happy I switched my banking over to OnPoint C.C Union. Thank you again for all your help, miss Hannah! :)

Kaylee Ray was amazing!!! She sent up my account as well as my 4 children. She was very kind polite efficient and understanding of my rushed behavior as I was on my lunch break. What a great way to start my new relationship with OnPoint, very pleased with my decision.
