Bought a bike here about a month ago; price was slightly higher than the average listing online, but the employees were very polite & good for conversation. Not but a day or so after I purchased it I had to take it back in for a repair, and post-repair my front tire dislodged itself during transit. Since I had purchased an axel lock from them, I contacted support for the axel provider & after sharing pictures of the damage they informed me that during the repair ProGear had incorrectly assembled my bike leading to the malfunction & accident. I would not recommend this shop to anyone who isn't bike-savy enough to be able to double-check their work.

I recently went here looking for a bicycle and the employee’Matthew’ was very helpful! I had gone to a different bike shop right before and the person working there was dismissive and just walked away after telling them what I was looking for and their used bikes had rusty chains and bolts. NwPro’s used bikes were all in refurbished condition and the employees were very attentive, knowledgeable and helpful!

Went to look for a gravel bike because I wanted to trade-in/sell my mountain bike, they found me a perfect bike and gave me a reasonable price to take my mountain bike off my hands. The entire crew was friendly and knowledgable. I've heard this was the best bike shop in Portland, and I'd have to agree!

I bought a bike for my son's 14th birthday from Nwprogear. They put it together just in time for his birthday. They didn't like the breaks that came with the bike, so they gave him a free upgrade on the bike breaks. The guys at the shop were very informative and pleasant to talk to. It is nice to spend money at a local shop. It was a quality bike for the best price I could find. Thanks

The guys at NW Pro are tops! I get my internal hub bike serviced here, which can be tricky. Dimitriy went the extra mile to rebuild my back wheel during the pandemic, when parts were scarce, and every repair I've had done has been excellent. I ride year-round, but I'm a woman showing up on a step-thru in a skirt, and I always get treated with respect. Give them a try! ?

I stopped by here on a busy Sunday to check out a mountain bike. Matt was super helpful and I was in and out with a new bike under 15 minutes. Super laid back and comfortable environment, I've been to other shops in town but this one earned my business. Thanks!

I was out riding one day and needed to make a quick pitstop repair and these guys were able to help me out. I was in and out within 30 minutes. Josh and the rest of their team were a great help! High recommended.

A local family owned business that operates with absolute integrity. I bought some headphones my last time in, and Matthew was friendly, knowledgeable, informative, and obviously loves what he does.
I've been to shops around the world. Some have been fancier, most quite a bit larger, and a few have even been world famous (I'm looking at You, Mellow Johnny's! Ick!), but you can't beat a small group of experts in their field, in a small shop, that actually LOVE what they do, and happen to be darn good at it.

Awesome bike shop, great people, great service, great selection of bikes, I highly recommend making a stop here if you need a new (or used!) bike. Matthew was super helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. The bike was a great price and very well set up, and Matthew gave me some good tips on getting the most out of my new ride. I’m very glad I checked this place out!

I love this shop! Quality workmanship, knowledgeable, and they work and sell e-bikes! Some other benefits; they are close to the spring water corridor trail, and near awesome food carts, and brewery spots! I was drooling over the new bike selection as well... Thank you Matthew and team!
