Nothing but positive things to say about this place. Stayed here for a week before Christmas. It was quiet and peaceful. Housekeeping was amazing. Came in everyday. New fresh towels, garage out, clean fresh sheets. Yes you can hear the train and some traffic but it wasn’t that a bad at all. I’m a light sleeper and it never woke me up. Bed and pillows were comfortable as well. Will stay here again when in town.

VERY clean room and kitchen. Great job by housekeeping and maintenance and anyone else involved.Everything in the kitchen worked. Nothing supplied which has pros and cons but dish soap and kitchen towels would have been appreciated. If they were supplied then different from bath towels would have been better.Comfy bed and pillows. Now for the only thing wrong, a lot of noise by the train and cars. Oh and construction behind our room that started pretty early.Seriously need to supply ear plugs in the rooms for no charge.Otherwise a good place to stay for a reasonable price

For lowest rates, call direct. I have stayed here 3 times. Very clean, very convenient. It is a good value for Portland. Thai and other restaurants nearby, also a Grocery Outlet. Alert: no back-in parking. I did not mind the sound of the trains and aircraft, but some might. Ear plugs are a travel essential in my view.

Cannot say enough about this hotel. The people at the desk were super helpful and kind. The cleaning staff were friendly and the rooms were well put together. If you're looking for extra amenities (ie. Hot tub, pool, etc.), then this isn't the right fit for you; but the rooms were clean and cozy, and I felt safe here. Also, it's not super expensive to stay for a night and one of the few places in Portland where you don't have to pay an additional fee for parking. Definitely will come back; all-around positive experience. Thank you, Nordic Inn and Suites!

Wouldn’t even give this place 1 star.. room wasn’t the cleanliest, shower head was about to fall out of the wall, and then come to find out they’d been coming in the room when we were there although I was never warned or told about this before or signed anywhere telling them I was okay with that. When asking for a refund (since we would be leaving a whole day before originally planned) I was told we needed to give them a 24 hr notice in order for me to be refunded.. however I would’ve given a notice had I known they’d been coming in the room when we were gone.

Staff was absolutely fantastic here's why they let us do our thing and didn't pester us about ever little detail about how the place is run...and wut ever you do at a big hotel is deviate from path.....some of these jokers turn into stark raving lunatics if faced with

It surprised you, as a visitor the first impression isn't the best because the neighborhood looks unsafe. But it's not, you can walk around and nothing will happen to you. Also, the rooms are amazing, super clean and comfortable, they clean the room all the days, so you have a clean room all the time. Love the hotel, highly recommended.Rooms: Amazing

Easy check in. Room was clean and neat. Fresh towels and plenty of hot water. Beds and pillows were super comfy! We were up front and thought the nearby airport and train might disturb our sleep, but not an issue. Great value!

Great service while checking in, nice clean room. Maybe not the best area in town, but it was quiet. If you need a place to stay that’s wallet friendly, this is it.

Very nice motel experience! Room is spacious. This is a hidden gem in NE Portland. No laundry facilities, no snack or drink vending machines at motel.. but if you stay in a suite you will have a full kitchen. The location is off of a busy street and the airport is nearby but when at the motel it is fairly quiet. Public transit is close by if needed. I would recommend a stay here!

We stayed from Thursday to Saturday, we asked for late check out and they charged my card $10 , on Saturday they called at 9am saying that the person that promised and charged my card was "new" and they didn't know that they didn't do late check out, we had our day planned and they messed up everything, also if they charged my card there is a deal made and they just bailed on the negotiation. Plus the room had spiders Also they tried to charge us $20 per each additional person we were 3 people on a two bedroom suite, there is nothing clear on the booking, they just try to get those hidden fees for everything. That wasn't stated on their website, it doesn't make any sense. The employees have different speeches any time that you talk to them, and they blame everything on the one before, which is difficult for the people that book because they just don't stand by their word. We are very dissatisfied with our stay. I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy.

We needed a place to stay in the area that was affordable, kinda close to the airport and clean. This checked all those boxes. I would consider staying again next time I need a room before a flight.

This inn is located in industrial Parkrose but it feels safe there so like at least one reviewer here says, don't let the location put you off. Nordic is one of a handful of the motels near the airport in this area. We just needed a place with a bed to take a break from sleeping on the couches for a four nights while waiting on movers and this one has the best reviews. The rate is cheap and the rooms are fine for the price. I booked single queen room #12 which had a full kitchen (no pots or utensils included), a Murphy style ironing board and iron on the wall, a moderately comfortable bed and a TV. The only downside is the internet which was painfully slow especially in the late night hours we stayed in the room. There's also no dead bolt and no way to tell housekeeping you're sleeping so you need to make sure you talk to the front desk if you intend to sleep in. They also don't provide tissues so either bring your own if you have allergies or plan to keep a roll of tp at your bedside. That was a first for me! Signs everywhere tell you to park head in which was odd and some people still didn't listen (not us). I didn't see tickets on any cars so I don't know how strictly they monitor their limited set of spots. I'd stay again if I needed cheaper long term digs by PDX.
