Multnomah Antiques is a hidden gem of an antique store. It's much bigger than it appears to be from the outside and they have quite a variety of things to look at. I enjoyed seeing the a lot of things that reminded me of my childhood.

I went here with my family and asked the lady working the counter if there was a restroom, she said “no. Starbucks. Across the street” in a uncalled for harsh tone of voice. After going to Starbucks we came back and entered the store and she said nothing and didn’t even look up from whatever she was looking at. I said “how are you doing?” And all she responded with was a spiteful sounding “good.” Without even looking up or even smiling a little. After that I really didn’t want to be in the store anymore so we looked around quickly and she didn’t pull her head up the entire time we were there, even as we left. She didn’t say anything to us as we left as well. The customer service was just horrible, she was an older lady with white/grey hair and a short haircut. It was very unwelcoming. Won’t be coming back.

I came here with my family today and asked the woman behind the counter if there was a bathroom. Without looking up she curtly responded "No. Starbucks has one." After coming back from Starbucks I greeted her and asked her how she was doing. She spitefully barked "good." As expected, she said nothing as we left, no "come again sometime" or "have a good day!". As a customer service worker I would never behave like this. I will never spend money here, despite being an antique collector. This woman had short white hair.

I am floored by the amazing deals at this lovely shop. It is much bigger than it appears on the street. There are lovely antiques and seems like a good turn around, always something new to see. The best secret around is there is a massive LP record collection, primarly of classic rock and jazz.
