Mortgage Trust is the only lender I trust to do business with. I work with my husband on a 2-person real estate team, and between the two of us we have worked with a lot of different mortgage lenders and brokers, but Mortgage Trust is the only one that we will do business with going forward. The level of professionalism, open-ended communication, and care that they take when dealing with us and our clients goes beyond anything that I could ever wish for. I highly recommend Mortgage Trust, specifically Michael Leland and his team!

Lucas is an AMAZING Mortgage broker! He will go above and beyond to ensure that you get the best rate and stay within your budget. He is incredibly knowledgeable about all the neighborhoods in the Portland area for those moving from out of state, and he really takes the time to get to know you and what it is that you are looking for in a home purchase. He really went above and beyond, and my family and I could not be happier with our home buying experience!

Ian Murdock is incredible to work with. I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs a hand in buying their first home. I saw Mark Snow for a mortgage rate, the numbers he gave me were not impressive. When I went to a bank to explore my options it was brought to my attention that my credit report had over 20 hits and that my credit score had dropped. Mind you the only person I had seen previously was Mark Snow. Long story short, I got a great rate with a bank, and had my credit score restored. I get this is a common practice to con a potential client into believing you have "the best rate" but it's shady, and just lazy. My experience was over a year ago, but I'm holding a grudge.

I am a first-time homebuyer and was referred to Evan Swanson by my realtor. I know, I know, you should always hesitate taking a referral from a realtor for fear that they just get kick backs and the service isn't great but Evan and everyone else at Mortgage trust were great to work with. They made the process easy to understand and the weekly updates were super helpful as we progressed through the process. I felt just as important and well served as those with a bigger budget! Homebuying in the market is very stressful but with Evan's support and transparency, I knew exactly what budget I was able to work with for a condo and a home. I would definitely recommend him and his team to anyone!

I asked a friend in real estate for a reference for the best mortgage person she knew and she gave me Katie's number--I totally get why. I am so, so, so pleased to say that we have finally closed on our re-fi, which is truly life changing, and we could never have done it without Katie Walsh. We were a "hard case" for a couple different reasons, but she kept at it and approached it from every angle until she made it happen. Katie didn't give up, she was positive and supportive without making unattainable promises, she kept us laughing and held our hands throughout the tense moments, and she used her expertise in presenting and submitting loans to give us every advantage; she was easily reachable, knowledgeable, and professional, and we felt like she was right by our side from application to celebrating our loan signing with us. So very thankful for her help in getting us finally moving toward financial freedom--we absolutely couldn't have done it without her. Very happy client who would come back without hesitation.
