“I am rather old and have a hard time shopping by myself, It's hard for me to talk to people because I have a bad lisp. I had came in to get some strawberries since they were on sale and I couldn't find them. A young man working there noticed I needed help and he was very kind and patient with me. He apologized for not having the strawberries in the display, he went into the back and carried back 3 cases in his arm and even looked through and got me the best looking ones! He was very caring and understanding and made me feel as if I didn't have a lisp at all. He made me feel so welcome I had my son help me make this account and download this app or whatever you call it. believe his name was Joey in the fruits and vegetables section. if you see this thank you very much!”

“This is my favorite Safeway, it actually lives up to the name! I call the one in NE Broadway and SW Jefferson, Un-Safeway, because you have to step over people to get in, are often accosted, and watch people stealing on a regular basis. This Safeway has none of those issues and for that alone, it made my shopping experience so pleasant. The store is much smaller than others, but for me, I always prefer a smaller footprint as it makes it easier to shop the perimeters which is where the healthy food is located. It's bright, clean, well stocked. The Meat Department definitely has less options but in the other areas, I found what I needed. Beautiful organic produce, lovely flowers, a Pharmacy in the back, a Starbucks when you enter - all the usual suspects. Plenty of covered parking underneath. Easy access to I-5. This will be my go to when I need to run out for an item I forgot and don't want to deal with SW Jefferson. It's just a little further but totally worth it for a safe and pleasant shopping experience.”

“The owners are very kind, personable folks. The neighborhood is very lucky to have you guys smack dab in the middle; you really can't beat the location. And you DEFINITELY can't beat a hot pizza (very delicious might I add), warm salted pretzel, and freshly made bubble tea made to order (they have basically a million flavors!), etc etc etc..... they have a ton of hot food to choose from, everything I've tried has been really freakin good!If you haven't been here, do yourself a favor and pay them a visit! They have a great selection of pretty much anything your little Portlander heart may desire.Support local, family owned businesses always!”

“Nice folks, quick pharmacy service. Probably the best pharmacy staff I've worked with. FYI, pharmacy closes at 7 weekdays now. Need to update the phone message, as of 11/26/21 it still says open til 8.”

“This Safeway does have long lines but the staff is nice and helpful. I see other customers complaining and not appreciating the employees that did show up for work and with positive attitudes. Also I'm not sure if other customers know this but your cashier did not make up the prices and it's not the staffs fault you can't use your own phone.”

“Johnson Creek Fred Meyers is a great store! honestly I know most of the people that work there and they go out of their way to make sure the customers have a wonderful shopping experience! especially the home department, they make sure that the customers leave wanting to return and bring family and friends alike. There are those few people that would complain just to hear themselves rant but other than that the store works tirelessly to make people feel welcomed There are some of the employees that will go above and beyond to make sure the people get what they came for or means to obtain it even if it's calling around to other Fred Meyer stores to find what is being sought after. So I'll be the first one to give the best feedback about that store over many other Fred Meyer stores it's hands down one of the best!”

“This Safeway is barely hanging on and can't thank the workers enough for keeping it open. The neighborhood is rough and there are security personnel, which helps shopping. It seems like a smaller Safeway, but has a pharmacy, bakery, deli and a Starbucks too!”

“The one guy at the counter acted like he didn't know what was going on and told me Western Union is to my left but nobody was standing there he just stared that way and I asked the man do I talk to you or what I've never done this before a young lady came out and asked if I needed help she helped me for just a bit and then she had to take care of customers and then I got stuck at the end and too many customers for her to come help me so I left and didn't get my money and dude was still standing there while the lady was taking care of customers. Just a bad experience just to get some money”

“First off, I would like to start by saying that ANY of the reviews where people complain about long wait times for prescriptions, not having their medications in stock, anything to do with getting a prescription filled, I implore you to please take a step back and zoom out to what the actual problem is, and where blame actually lies, because I can absolutely without a doubt assure you, your issues are not with the staff. Would you be a happy bubbly, ray of sunshine if every single day when you walked into YOUR job, half your coworkers had either quit or were absent, but you still had the same amount of work to do, with less people to help you do it, essentially doubling your workload, that wouldn't set the tone for an incredibly high pressure stressful day? Of course it would. Maybe they didn't have your medication in stock. Well, I really don't know how people actually think it's the pharmacists fault. Lots of medications are having GLOBAL supply issues, the pharmacists are not the ones that can control whether or not certain pharmaceutical companies can make more odds”

“Last night, I ended up with a bad tension headache after much running around over the long holiday weekend. I don't often stop to shop at the bigger suburban stores in this chain, but the headache was really getting to me and had no Advil at home. Ron dropped me in front of the store and went and parked while I went in to grab what I needed. My first sight nearing the door was a security guard. I wish that wasn't a fact of life out this way, but it is, and the store has responded with appropriate measures. Everything was big, bright, shiny, and clean. I had no trouble finding my Advil and getting checked out by a very nice clerk who also warned me about the freshly-mopped floor (now there's a large headache I don't need). It's been an OK Monday, even after a long holiday weekend. I appreciate the fast and friendly service here at Rite-Aid and the lack of a headache today.”

“I would like to thank Versa for being an awesome employee. Today, Christmas Eve, is hectic for the average person. Not Versa. She was kind, professional and polite. You do t see old fashion customer service values like that Versa displayed and I really appreciate it. On top of it the store closed early due to a faulty sprinkler that set off fire alarm. Versa attempted to make it possible so my grandkids could get the bikes I was in line to purchase but management said "no"! However I thank her for trying!”
