I recently purchased a used Mini Cooper from Geoffery at the dealership, and the experience was excellent. He was very helpful and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. I highly recommend for anyone looking for a great service!

MINI of Portland's General Manager, Roger Botton, knows how to please his customers and Sam Shepherd, his ace salesman,
keeps them coming back for more. The new 2023 MINI Island Blue Electric I bought my wife last September is an astonishingly beautiful car inside and out; it handles like a dream. My wife gets 120 miles per charge mostly commuting from Beaverton to Portland, and it recharges easily overnight plugged into a regular outlet in our garage. For beauty, performance, reliability and economy, this is the best value out there, and the best place to buy it!
I loved driving her car so much that this year I bought myself a 2024 MINI Island Blue Electric with smooth-riding, sexy black wheels and Pirelli Cinturato tires . It is the best sports car I have ever owned! That is really saying something, because I am 80 and my first sports car at age 21 was a 1965 MGB in British racing green; I have had many others in the ensuing years, but none approaches this one; it is fast, efficient, agile, and thrilling to drive; yet it is economical, and thoroughly reliable! With its German engineering and incredibly supportive seats, it rides like a smooth dream come true; its sound system is astonishing and its performance breathtaking; it is simply divine for an 80 year old sports car enthusiast and makes me feel like 21 again!

I thought the days of slime-y, used car salesemen were over until we purchased a used car from Mini of Portland. Once they had our money they treated us horribly - ghosting our phone calls, giving us a car with a new rattle that wasn’t there during the test drive. I even reached out to Lithiacares customer service for help with our issue and they were equally horrible and non-responsive. I will make it a point to avoid Lithia dealerships in the future.

I'm beyond words! What should have been an easy fix to appease and assist a customer with what was PROMISED is a lie. I was told by our service advisor Andre when I brought my vehicle in "no worries, we work with these insurance companies all the time, and I know exactly what they are looking for and you will only have your deductible" I sent him all he asked for from Car Shield. 2 weeks later he tells me "oh, they will cover the Oil leak, but not the water leak". Even after speaking with Car Shield, they told me what Mini had to call in to express, which was "It's the water pump we are replacing, not the thermostat" which is simply part of the water pump. Even if you look up the part number it clear states a water pump. But. that's not how the paperwork was worked up. Then at the time of picking up my car (and I had to pay $1500 to get this done) Andre said right in front of my 23yr old daughter "no problem, we will get this verbiage corrected, but my supervisor has to do it, I can't. Monday came and the paperwork sent to me said the same thing. When I spoke with the service manager, it was clear he wasn't interested in helping me to change anything. Even though changing the verbiage would MATCH the part description. I'm still in shock and never intend on bringing my vehicle to Mini again. And it's a shame, I was seriously considering a new car since mine has $148k on it. I will make it known to all my friends, clients of 300+ restaurants to avoid Mini at all costs. I feel lied and manipulated just to get my car fixed. But hey, hope it was worth it.

Mini of portland was great. We were able to take the car to my house on the test drive so my wife could check it out also. The sales staff was awesome and worked to get a deal that all of us were happy with. Sevice like that goes a long way, and they’re my first stop when buying another car.

Todd Lanstrum, Danielle and Bradley O'Neil - we dropped into Mini of PDX to see a vehicle they had listed. When the receptionist turned us over to Todd I was a bit reluctant based on previous car sales interactions. The encounter with Todd could not have been more comfortable. He was never pushy only informative. He was sensitive to our needs and worked hard to answer our questions and concerns - it was more like a discussion with a friend.
Danielle followed up with us over the phone again never pushy only informative and professional. We were able to negotiate a the purchase the next day over text and we feel we were treated overall in a professional manner.
Bradley O"neil filled in for Todd when we picked up the car. She too was very professional and comfortable to work with. She answered all our questions and even though she was covering for several people she kept us informed and happy.
They never wavered on the deal - no last minute pressure to alter the agreement - we drove away with the feeling we had worked with an exceptionally professional organization.

Andre has been the best service advisor I’ve ever had. Kept me informed and had my car ready for pick up when promised. Won’t go anywhere else.

Recently purchased a vehicle here for my kids and I, but this wasn’t the first time working with this dealership. A few years ago we had the best experience, recently we’ve had not the most pleasant experience. I don’t know if management changed, but definitely was not at all how I remembered it.
Scratches and repainting was agreed to be fixed on my vehicle in certain spots. When this was done it looked like it was quick/ rushed. Scratches are still there and a specific part of my hood where it was chipped look like just some paint put on it and not at all smoothed. The circles from the buffer are very noticeable in sunlight and it was not smoothed out. It looks worst then when I took it in to get fixed. A walk around was not completed to see or hear any concerns but overall felt like a situation to be rushed out from.
When I brought up this up after picking my car up finally, I was told the person to address the concern with was the salesperson that I bought the car from. After calling and leaving a voicemail and following up with a email a few days after to get a response- I received an email with the response “we are not a paint shop and sorry didn’t meet expectation….nothing they can do.” I am extremely disappointing as instead of making it look better it looks like it was a rush job. I am disappointed that I pushed a vehicle for over $40k and am unhappy with the purchase. Every time I see the car, I have buyers remorse. I won’t be purchasing from this dealership again. I have removed the license plate frame, I will not market the dealership.
Only reason I am giving this more than 1 star is because Anna from the service department was so communicative and responsive any time I had a question or really wanted an update on what was going on with my car.

We had a great buying experience with Francis! We were coming in from out of town and did most of the deal via phone and email. This is our 4th MINI!

My wife and I recently bought a 2017 Ford Escape from another dealer. After driving 200 miles, we discovered a problem with the transmission. We contacted the dealership, and they referred us to Mini of Portland. Long story short, they replaced the transmission. Thanks to the 60-day Lithia warranty, we didn’t pay anything out of pocket. Andre, our service advisor, was very friendly and helpful throughout the entire process. He communicated effectively, sending messages, emails, and calls. I highly recommend Lithia dealerships to everyone.

Very pleasant experience. Ms Bradley O’Neil was a very significant link. She was able to provide solid answers to all of our questions. Very important when buying a used vehicle. Your finance person was also great. I would mention her name, but wow what a name ?. Love the car
