After experiencing issues with a vehicle, Russ was very professional to solve my issue and set me on a better track. Would buy from them again, I would buy from them if you are looking for a reliable and cheap german/euro vehicle.

Was interested in a couple of Volvo models. Came in and test drove a couple, worked with Arthur, he was running the lot completely on his own, which means he sometimes has a lot to juggle between customers often at the same time. He's very low key and mellow.Unfortunately I wasn't able to make a deal here and ended up purchasing a Volvo from out of state and had it transported to my home in Portland. I really liked a specific 2012 Volvo Millennium had on the lot, it test drove well, but had a couple of issue, one being electronic, but fixable. Despite Arthur being a nice guy he failed as a sale person. He kept promising to get the issues with the Volvo taken care so I could come back and make a deal. A week would go by, no fix, another week would go by, no fix, then another and another... just excuses. After nearly two months of waiting I just gave up and moved on. I'd check their online inventory and the car was still for sale months later at a lower price, not sure if they ever fixed the issue or just auctioned it off. Arthur also didn't seem very interested in working with my trade at the time. As a small dealership they definitely prefer cash deals as they'll likely have to auction off your trade unless it's nice enough to sell off their lot. As things would have it, my car (trade) was stolen and I ended up with what would have been a cash deal. Just one reason dealerships and sales people shouldn't pre-qualify their potential customers as he certainly missed what could have been a fairly easy cash sale.Majority of Millennium Motors cars are purchased from auctions, most are in decent condition, but definitely pay due diligence and have the vehicle taken out for a used car pre-inspection by a knowledgable professional mechanic. While being great cars when they are well maintained, many Volvo's have issues so it's good to know what you're getting into. For instance, early V60s before mid 2016 had faulty engine designs that could catastrophically fail at higher miles, you can check the engine serial numbers as Volvo modified the design past certain numbers and later 2016 and newer. Also full critical timing belt service around 110-120K miles should be mandatory (+water pump, tensioner) as early Volvo's all use rubber timing belts versus chains. Also be ready to haggle on the price, they are a small dealership and will low ball your trade. They also can't offer much in ways of upgrades, modification or promised fixes as they don't have a shop, garage or mechanics. Arthur pretty much is your fix-it guy.It should also be noted that some of the online photos of the dealership are not current. The current address at 720 SE 82nd is a pretty small beat up lot. The pavement is not smooth and the office building is a raised trailer stuck in the middle of the lot, not the modern newer one as seen in some of the photos. There is no inside parking or vehicles on display, that's their old location. Everything is outside in the elements. While overall pricing here appears good, there's probably a reason for it.

If I could give more stares I would! Arthur made my first buying experience so easy and great! When I went to sign papers I was preparing myself for a long wait and a mess of paperwork but he had everything filled out and ready to go for me and we were done in less than 10min! Honestly the best experience hands down! Can’t wait to get another car from him here soon! Thank you Arthur for such an easy and pleasurable car buying experience, I will always recommend you to my friends and family!

Majority of Millennium Motors cars are purchased from auctions, most are in decent condition, but definitely pay due diligence and have the vehicle taken out for a used car pre-inspection by a knowledgable professional mechanic that specializes in that brand. Thankfully they do offer a free CARFAX (much more detailed than Auto Check) on all their inventory on their website, even though not everything is reported on records. While Volvo's are excellent cars when they are well maintained, many have issues so it's good to know what you're getting into. Also be ready to haggle on the price, they are a small dealership and will low ball your trade, but there's margin in the price to work with. They also can't offer much in ways of upgrades, modification or promised fixes as they don't have a shop, garage or staff mechanics. car was stolen over the weekend, so i needed a car immediately. it was around 9pm and i used the text function on their website. I thought it was just an automated response but nope! it was a human response. I told him i'd try to swing by the following morning to check things out.I texted him again (next morning) and told him i was on my way. upon arriving, I meet with Arthur, the car i had expressed my interest with was already pulled up, he immediately tells me to take it for a ride. I also needed financing, so he texted me directions to the nearest onpoint and gave me the keys again and said go for it, just keep me posted. The level of trust this guy has is so welcoming that i kept him in touch and i made sure i got my business squared away quickly. when i got back he did my paperwork in like 10minutes and i was out of there. I was blown away by how quick, efficient, professional, and helpful he was. I will definitely come back here again for a second car OR when portland decides to strike again. Keep up the great work!

I bought a used Volvo XC60 from Millennium Motors about one month ago. The buying process was quick, easy and painless. I worked with Art the entire time. He was patient and thoughtful. He negotiated the price with me, even if the deal was better for the customer than for the business. After driving the car off the lot, within a few highway miles the check engine light came on. I contacted Art at the dealership immediately and he pledged to make it right, but just needed the error codes. So I used my own code reader and found the codes to indicate a problem with the catalytic converter and O2 sensors. Two very important components in ensuring the vehicle passes DEQ. Art and the dealership once again stated they would make things right and replace these parts at no cost to me. Saving me thousands of dollars in parts and labor. They even replaced an additional part while they were working on the car as a gesture and wasn’t part of the original work order. In short, most used car dealerships will lead a customer on, perhaps even take too long to respond or replace a part so that they aren’t legally liable to do so. The exact opposite is the case with Art and Millennium Motors. They eased the experience in used car buying and dedicated themselves to making it right for a customer. I would definitely go to Millennium Motors again if or when I’m in the market for another used vehicle. Thanks Art!

I like the car but the battery and the tires needed replacing within the first 2 weeks due to failures. Also couldn't get them to commit to looking at a different failure that I experienced within 18 hours of owning the car.The staff are very nice, just expect to do your own significant due diligence and don't expect "cosmetic" (their words, not mine) items like tires to be anything other than what was there when they bought it or expect room to negotiate the price. "That's one of the risks you assume when buying a used car". Again their words. There are other dealerships in Portland who fix some of the cosmetic or "easy" maintenance issues before they sell the car, Millennium just isn't one of them.I bought a 2013 Volvo on a Friday. Saturday morning the back hatch release stopped working, and a low battery warning came on. I called first thing Monday about the back hatch and we had a text communication that lasted for 12 days before I stopped hearing from them. The car didn't start within the first 7 days. The battery was dead (it was over 4 years old). As soon as I mentioned that in the texts, responses stopped on the back hatch. To be very clear, I did check the back hatch while we were at the dealership and it worked. Literally, first thing Saturday the button on the back stopped working. The remote and the driver's side release still work.I'm glad someone reported above and beyond service, but that was not my experience. I was asked to drop off the car to have them check the back hatch release, at their convenience and leave it for a couple of days. I made a couple of offers on when I could drop off the car, based on my schedule, and was countered at the last minute each time, until they stopped responding all together.I was aware of a couple things when I purchased the car (no covers on mirrors on the sun visors and a couple upholstery tears), and I have learned, from this experience how to see how old a battery and tires are, so there is that. I discovered at home that the passenger back seat head rest doesn't go down, but didn't ask the dealership to repair it because I couldn't recall if I checked it at the dealership.Additional info causing drop from 3 starts to 2: THE DEALERSHIP NEVER SUBMITTED THE REGISTRATION DOCUMENTS TO THE DMV. I got a Fed Ex package about a week ago with all the paperwork and a reimbursement check. No note or explanation. If they "accidentally misplaced it", submitting it late would be better that this. Another example of their lack of professionalism.

I Purchased a 2016 Volvo V60 from these guys in April 2022 and paid $14K. A few weeks after I got the car home, the engine quit and had to be towed home. The engine is apparently shot a109K miles and has been verified by the Underiner Volvo service department. All the Volvo dealers I spoke with said this is a problem with all 2013 to 2016 Volvos with the 2.0L engine and Millennium knew this. The replacement engine is going to cost $11,500. All these guys did was pawn off a bad car that wasn't worth anything. A bad deal and highly recommend two things. 1) Don't buy a 2013 to 2016 Volvo with a 2.0L engine and run, don't walk away from this dealer

I bought a Volvo from Millennium over 3 years ago now. I really like the selection of European cars they had... the service was great and they upfront on the vehicle's history. I purchased a XC70 with a reconstructed title... had been an read end collision. It was a great price and the car was awesome! Recently sold it 3.5 years later and it's still in excellent condition. They offer a lot of value... and the purchase process was very simple and quick

Arthur and his team were good to work with. Great selection of used Volvos. Easy to negotiate with. I had a problem with the car within the first week and they completely took care of me and made it right. I would not hesitate to recommend this dealership and may end up doing business with them again.

Just bought a second vehicle from this location. I have nothing but great experiences both times. I would recommend this company to anyone, especially if you like Volvo’s.
