I was in PDX a week before Christmas and called Mercedes Benz of PDX service department to schedule a service appointment. No one answered - I left a message asking that someone return my call to schedule a B-Service appointment. After about 4/5-hours and not receiving a call back I called again. Like before no one answered so I left another message. Next I tried scheduling through their website but my particular model is not included or limited (my car is only 3-years old). The next day I tried again - still no answer. I called the main number but no one answered that number either. I left a message thinking for sure someone would return my call if only to tell me to call the service department. But nothing. Then I remembered the saying - if people treat you like they don't care, believe them. I imagine that same attitude, lack of attention to customers carries over to the rest of the staff at the dealership. I don't want my car services at a place that treats you Ike they don't care.

Again You are stating you hold no fault on this. Your company did not uphold the Mercedes CPO standards that I received from your salesman David Way when I leased the vehicle, which clearly states, that if the vehicle is with in 5000 miles or 6 months or has not had the oil changed it would be done. The vehicle had 8200 miles on it when I leased it ? I drove the car for one year thinking your team had completed the required maintenance. I did not find this out until you sent the maintenance records to the warranty department and I received copies ! How can you say that it was my fault when you did not uphold your own requirements!!!

I recently had the BEST service I have ever had when getting car maintenance done. Celeselia (spelling?) was not just helpful, but she made the process downright fun. I had so many questions about the operation of my gorgeous C-300. She went over each issue with a great wealth of knowledge, patience and even humor. I always appreciate how clean my car comes back too.

Purchased a 2019 E53 from the dealership at the start of June. Great car, was so happy to get my first AMG vehicle. Kenny was helpful during the sales process, being well prepared when I was ready to make the purchase during the second visit, and followed up with me multiple times over the phone after. Now the bad, what prompted me to leave this negative review: three months later, I still don't have my license plate. First called OR DMV with 10 days left on the temporary permit, confirmed there was no transaction for one, called Portland Mercedes and left a message with Jennifer in Title. Kenny called me back the next day explaining there was an issue with titling, and that I would get my plates in about 14 days. I asked what happens when I don't have the plates before my temporary permit expires, the response is we will see, not much of a solution. Fast forward to yesterday, with my temporary permit expiring today, I messaged Kenny, no response (granted he is probably not working), so I emailed Duncan the general sales manager along with Kenny's email, asking for help, still no response now at 1pm the day my permit expires.I called DMV again and they now see something was submitted for DEQ but still hasn't processed anything for the plates. My past experiences with other three Mercedes dealership has been great, felt they took care of me (at least from a customer experience perspective), not so much this time.Another minor issue that I wasn't going to complain but since I am typing up a review, it's about the LED light on a handle wasn't working, which I found out right after I took the car home and was able to spot it in the dark quickly. This led me to taking it to the Beaverton Mercedes (same group, Lithia) to have that fixed, which the service group scratched up the front passenger window tint during the fix, which I was told is illegal and they won't be able to fix. I was reimbursed but had to go to a private shop. Just my luck, a clip inside the handle then broke off, which got me back to the Beaverton location for the fix. Shit happens so I don't fault anyone on this, but it's been a huge hassle. This being a certified vehicle, I didn't expect there would be immediate issues (while minor) and have illegal window tint on it.Not sure if I would recommend this dealership to anyone if this isn't resolved to my satisfaction.

Was told to reach out to Duncan the Sales Manager after posting review of poor service when purchasing my vehicle. Left him a voicemail with no response back.

This is the worst dealership I have ever seen. I ordered a build for a 2023 GLC 300 they asked for a $2,500 deposit which I paid. When I told them I no longer needed the car they said they would keep my deposit. This is the only dealership I know that will keep your deposit on a build for a car. I am forced to deal with these guys through the court system.

Absolute worst experience ever. I bought a vehicle from MB Portland and had it shipped to AZ where I live. The car was missing 6-7 features that were included in the listing but NOT ON THE VEHICLE. I have asked questions and gotten no answers and no replies to my emails. I feel like I have been scammed. I would have never bought the car if I knew it didn't have the features I was looking for. I would like an explanation but so far, crickets. Hugely disappointed in this dealership.

This is mostly about Mitchell Raymer, a sales associate at the dealership. I came in because I couldn't get my new phone to pair with my 2011 E350 cabriolet. I tried every way I could, but it would not work. When I first pulled in, I noticed him putting a ribbon on a new car. Turns out, he was preparing it for someone who just bought it and was going to pick it up. I was mildly impressed that someone was going to the extra effort when there was no compelling reason. Nice touch! I asked him for the service department, and he casually asked what I was there for. I told him about the phone connection, and he said, "hey, let me take a look at it. Maybe I can help." We went out to my car, and he had it connected in about 5 minutes. It took a couple stabs at it to find the right series of buttons to push. But, he did it.He didn't have to help me. He knew I wasn't there to buy a car. But, he happily dove in and did it. I'd say, if you're going to buy a Mercedes, I'd go to Mercedes Benz of Portland and ask for Mitchell Raymer. I can't speak for the company over-all...but I can speak for Mitch.Rob C.

The car looked great on the outside. We test drove the vehicle and purchased the car. We didn't drive the vehicle off the lot because as you can see in the photo the front right bumper needed to be painted. What I thought was a paint job turned into an inspection. We later learned the car had a warning light sales manager Duncan knew about prior to test driving and prior to sale of the vehicle. A few days went by and I called MB Portland about when my vehicle would be ready for pick up, the car sales agent Kenny told me "oh they're just making things right for you and they needed to order a part". I was super confused because I thought they were only painting my car.... Another lie. I had to call again and learned the car will not be for sale (aka, they needed to back out of our deal) as it has about $7,000 worth of damages and it's unsafe to drive. Excuse me what?????We later learned due to the vehicle being a BMW he wasn't able to know what the warning light was indicating. as the car needed to be brought to BMW to get scanned. That's when they informed sales manager Duncan the car is unsafe to drive and has a high chance of rolling when vehicle is stopped. The first words out of my mouth was "are you guys being serious right now?" I was shocked! I though the car had been inspected. I test drove it. You all said it was working fine. I was expecting only your service department to be painting the car not inspecting the vehicle for damages. Duncan and this specific branch failed to do the most important thing: inspect their vehicle. losing my trust as a customer and I encourage you all to seriously be warned. Duncan later told me most dealerships might have just sold us the car.... But this is suppose to be Mercedes-Benz right? Not a mom and pop store around the corner. There's no accountability from this store and corporate. Corporate wants all our issues to be directed to this specific MB Portland location and essentially told us they have nothing to do with that location. Additionally, they also never talked to this location as they didn't even know the sales managers name. Sales manager says "but we inspected the vehicle and it passed our safety regulations." How is it a proper inspection if in the inspection you found a unknown warning light and failed to disclose to the customer prior to test driving and purchasing? Doesn't make sense Duncan, it really doesn't no matter how hard you've tried to spin it. & unfortunately for you I'm not stupid and can afford a lawyer. I am speaking with appropriate parties due to the extreme negligence from this store. Duncan told me most car dealerships would have sold me the car anyways implying I should almost be thankful they told me. Well I'm not. What drove this additional review (left one on google) is the fact that the sales associate keeps calling us to inform us the car we literally do not have has issues. This is the second voicemail we have received. Mind you this is like several DAYS after the car has been purchased and the contract was rescinded aka we do not have the car. We have already bought a new vehicle at another location and went to BMW due to this experience. I think he's trying to cover ass but it's entirely too late... we should have known the car had issues prior to sale and test driving. Please leave me and my family alone MB Portland, this is getting more and more weird and feeling like harassment. Instead of mitigating your issues you're adding fuel to the fire. & Kenny this isn't all on you. Your entire team also knew of this and ultimately your sales manager is responsible. I hope they're not trying to make you the scapegoat but wouldn't be surprised. I will not be speaking with you all directly anymore. You've wasted my time enough and offered $500 as a resolution, goodbye and best of luck.

Mercedes Benz of Portland went way beyond what I anticipated. Especially Tom which I was to who, I believe, the shop foreman. On my own delema, I let my battery die which in turn kicked off a code that wouldn't let my car shift out of 2nd after it was jump started. I "limped" it down to the the dealership followed by my union ironworking foreman, Carlos, where I was met with very happy help, starting from the front entrance, all the way back to service, even while wearing a construction safety vest. After a short conversation with the service representative recommend to me, Tom, which who was obviously busy at the time, wheeled his cart of goodies over to my car after i pulled it in, and instantly went to work. Tom, patient, me not so much, lol, started his diagnosis. At the same time he held a very calm and expanded conversation on how these cars work. Me being an enthusiast, endulgen in conversation. Calm, cool and collective, Tom did this thing diagnosing. Within 20 minutes of me showing up, I was reversing out. Super professional! Like no other! Thanks Tom! Thank you for MB Of Portland for coming thru.Definitely recommend!
