I went to the emergency room for two reasons and both were listened to, looked into, and explained with compassion. Unfortunately I’ve spent a lot of time in medical offices these last 7 months and I’ve never met such a sincere group of medical professionals. Thank you!

Bills don't reflect in their portal and they send them to collections without adequate notification. Overall very poor service and not trustworthy a place.

43 years ago Dr. Ahmed and Dr. Starr’s team saved our three year old daughter by doing surgery on her coarctation of the aorta.43 years later I’m in the fight for my life from ovarian cancer stage 4.Dr. Jooya, Andrea, and the entire oncology team are my hero’s!!!I can’t recommend them highly enough if you have the misfortune of needing their help.Dr. Ford at Tanasbourne Urgent care was the initiator who took the extra time to make sure that we were treating the correct problem. To each and everyone of you: God Bless you!You are my heroes!

was charged $700 to sit in a waiting room for eight hours before even being seen, given an unnecessary x ray without being told the cost, and berated by the woman in the billing department treating me like an idiot for not knowing exactly what i was looking at when i got the outrageous bill. truly a horrible, evil place do not go to this hospital, they just want money.

Noting the low rating for this facility, strikes me as surprising. Considering our experience here, with most of those we interacted with, quite a pleasant experience. My mother’s said the same about her visits here.Detaching from the stigma, treating the patients with dignity and respect with a holistic approach alongside family members, devoid of judgment or discrimination is what we experienced here.Much gratitude for those caring for and treating your child with the dignity they deserve considering the struggles they are already enduring. Alternating with my mother, to visit my young adult son (admitted for the weekend only, midish December of 2022) we encountered a medical team that embodied a gold standard sense of care and empathy, hands-down. Kudos to Nurse Jordan who was very kind and consistent with helping me (or my Mom) stay in contact with my son. Jordon was also accommodating with his requests, such allowing him to place an order from his fave Chinese food restaurant (the hospital food not always being most favorable to the palate). A couple of other nurses, a young male nurse and an older nurse (didn’t get their names) Florence Nightingale lights shone through. They helped with things like reading material or allowable art-related material. It’s difficult enough for families in their quest to help their loved one(s) battle through the demons. Some more overwhelmed by these monsters than others. Our experience here with St. Vincent’s gives that glimpse of hope for treatment and pushing break through those pitch dark places/ spaces. He’s very fortunate to be in a position to have support in the form of shelter and other areas, as well as other close family members/ friends helping out from time to time. This is key because for those struggling, in this context, it can make a world of difference. The cafeteria staff were accommodating, helpful and friendly as well. Wasn’t expecting a healthy bowl of version beef stroganoff and Brussel sprouts to be so delicious. Even my son thought they weren’t so shabby. Now that front entrance desk greeter. This grump of a woman could use some people skills. Looks like a retiree type that sucks sour lemons for much of her shift. Lacking hospitality or acknowledgement whatsoever. Or who knows- maybe she doesn’t like people who ‘look like me’ to keep it real. Don’t really care what that woman’s deal was but certainly her greeter skills were not on point. When I pleasantly walked towards the visitor desk with a slight nod & smile to ask about courtesy masks since the box at the front door was empty (left my cloth one in the car) her response was about as pleasant as a dingy ball of cat hair. She darted me a look of disdain and basically finger pointed to an area off to the side, “It’s right there.” Like woman why are you here? Surely there are much friendlier people willing to volunteer. That was the only bad look.Anyhow, it’s evident that is a well-endowed hospital which obviously speaks to the quality of healthcare. Upon entry through the main entrance, walls adorned with plaques displaying generous philanthropy are readily apparent. E.g., the likes of former NIKE founder & CEO, Phil Knight (and his wife, Penny) donor types. No surprise with this being a more affluent side of town. So there’s that aspect of feeling fortunate for my son to have access. And access is such a big deal with healthcare to say the least.

There's a lack of anesthesiologists and there're not rescheduling surgeries. No timeline was given, there're not putting us on a waitlist. So it's up for the parents to keep calling every week to beg for a surgery date. Completely disrespecful!

Couldn't find the EV parking. Said there was some, never did find them. If there are any, they're not marked well enough.

I brought my young child in for some pediatric day surgery. The staff, from check in desk to nurse to operating doctors and post op nurses, everyone was wonderful. Time was taken for all questions to be asked. I felt completely informed and the degree they went to help my little one understand, as much as age would allow, was comforting and very helpful. It made a scary situation tolerable. We both were treated with compassion and respect. They listened and empowered me, working together as a team to make the best decisions. I am so thankful for the kind, competent and friendly support given us. Thank you so much!
