Good car, but had a couple of very small issues not disclosed in the original advertisement. Overall decent experience. Been driving the vehicle for about 5 months now and seems to be running smoothly. I would probably buy from here again

Purchased a 2010 Audi A4 from Paul and I couldn't be happier with the experience. He was upfront and forthright on deficiencies present with this 14 year old car. He offered to purchase parts and ship to my home and quickly responds to questions even a month after purchase. I would not hesitate to purchase from him in the future.

Search to all over the country for my Audi A3 and found what I was looking for at Matis Motors. Paul was great to work with and made the whole process seamless! I booked a flight from Salt Lake City to Portland to pick the car up and drive it home. It was in excellent shape all around and it drove flawlessly all the way home. I am in love with this car. Paul is great to work with and sells great cars. He hand selects clean cars to put on his lot and stands behind them. He offered to repair an engine light that came on shortly after purchase for glow plugs. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another vehicle from Paul in the future!

I recently purchased a car from Paul at Matis Motors & he personlly made this an excellent experience. I found his advertising to be accurate & supported by attached photos. Since I was from out of state, we spoke on several on several occasions which ultimately convinved me to close the deal without ever driving the car which I had never done. He volunteered to pick me up from the airport with the car so I had an opportunity to confirm my purchase as we drove to his office to complete the transaction. He is honest & completely transparent. His goal is for buyer to be happy & completely satisfied with their purchase. I subsequently drove the car 580 miles & it performed flawlessly. I highly recomend Paul if you are looking for a quality pre-owned car. Thanks Paul
I posted the above review several months ago & wanted to update it. At the time of purchase of this car, an Audi A3 the headlight was functional, but wouldn't self adjust which caused a warning light on the dash of the car. Paul agreed to pay 50% of the cost to repair the light. It took me 7 months to solve the problem, but I finally found & corrected it. I notified Paul & he stood by his agreement even though it took me so long. I can't speak highly enough of his commitment to his customers & his honestly. I would give him 6 stars if I could. Purchased a 2012 BMW x5 35d from Matis Motors just yesterday.
Originally came out to look at the car on Monday 12/18/2023, saw it was in pretty good condition and wanted to move forward with the purchase.
Asked Paul if we would be OK with me taking it for a pre purchase inspection before finalizing the deal, which he was fine with. We agreed on a price beforehand, and if there were no major issues found, I would go through with the purchase. I took it to a shop about 10 minutes from Matis Motors, and it came back clean (the mechanic actually owned the same body style 35d and luckily knew what to look for). There were very minor suspension components that the mechanic suggested be replaced (total for these repairs were < $500 parts + labor). The mechanic also pointed out that the EGR system on the 35d I was getting inspected had recently been replaced, this is a common issue on this model and was a HUGE plus that it had already been taken care of.
I decided to go through with the purchase once returning to the dealership, and am definitely happy with my purchase thus far.
Additional Information: Paul explained to me that he specifically looks for certain types of vehicles (he had 3 35d's on his lot at the time of me visiting and primarily European makes/models). Its evident that he tries to procure vehicles that he is very familiar/knowledgeable about.
I will admit that upon arriving at the dealership I did not have high hopes, given the location and the size of the lot, but after talking with Paul and confirming the information he gave me on the 35d was in-fact true, I would definitely recommend someone to Matis Motors.

Paul is professional, friendly and courteous. He has taken great care to make sure we are satisfied with our purchase.
