Please read before doing any type of business with this location. First of all the actual employees of this store are great. When it comes to dealing with LL Flooring as a company and the JOKE of an installer company called “Modern Flooring Services” it has been an absolute nightmare. My floors were supposed to be fully installed before we moved into our home in December of 2022. It is now January of 2024 and we are still dealing with issues. Since Modern Flooring botched the entire first job of install the floors aren’t able to be under warranty. Our entire house needs to be redone (2200 sq feet of floors, baseboards, and trim). Modern Flooring put together a reinstall plan they kept pushing back and are now acknowledging that they aren’t able to do the work they proposed as far as the reinstall goes. LL Flooring corporate (Dealing with Leslie and Katharyn) have been negligent in getting back to us and are now just flat out ignoring us. I would highly recommend you buy flooring material elsewhere. If you do choose to buy flooring UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES should you let Modern Flooring Services to work on your home. They will not be able to do the job properly and you will be in the exact same scenario. I implore you to look up reviews on them via every platform and you will see very similar experiences.

We have a basement living space with a concrete floor that we needed to make improvements to before we could use the space. LL Flooring listened carefully to what we wanted to achieve and made helpful suggestions. They sent people out to assess the situation and give us a bid. It turns out we needed to have the floor waterproofed and leveled before they could install luxury vinyl plank flooring. Taking those extra steps was key to the success of our project so we could rest assured that the concrete floor underneath it would stay dry and the LVP would be warm. The project turned out beautifully. We are a handy couple and were able to do a couple of the tasks ourselves to save money, but that being said we thought the pricing was fair. Everyone was easy to work with and the job got done within schedule.

The store and products themselves were alright; to be expected of a flooring warehouse. However, the installer ‘Modern Flooring’ was a JOKE to work with. They promised, after the first attempt to install, that they were sending the “#1 installer on the market.” The day of the second attempt to install, I had to call and figure out where they were and get an ETA. Their senior install manager, Sam, seemed as unsurprised and unforgiving as ever. I waited for her to try and “find another installer,” but hours went by. Hours on a day that I took off from work and wasted sitting around, waiting for people that were not coming for the second time. So, I took the materials back. LL associates seemed confused as to why Sam hadn’t called back…. I was seething at that point. Just wanting the entire payment back and just to be done with LL for good.
If you are an excellent micromanager and have all the time in the world to sit around waiting for the #1 installer on the market, this may be the place for you. Cheers.

I got quotes from 5 different flooring companies from Home Depot, to Lowes, to smaller Portland area outfits. LL flooring had the most options for the best price. Jose was incredibly knowledgeable, responsive, and transparent. LL flooring charges per line item, so I was able to see what all my money was going towards, and could make the decision of doing a lot of the upfront prep myself, saving me thousands. The floor installation finished a few days ago and it looks utterly fantastic. I couldn't be happier with the flooring, the service, or the installation experience.

Jay was very helpful, answered all my questions, and walked me through their warehouse and process. I like the even design of the Duravana flooring as I was looking for waterproof laminate that was visually less busy. I needed the flooring right away and they had what I needed in stock. In addition, I can return any unused boxes without a restocking fee.
