About Literary Arts
Literary Arts is a newly opened bookstore that has quickly become a welcome addition to the community. The spacious and beautifully designed space features ample community areas, a helpful and friendly staff, and a lovely selection of books and other gifts. Customers can look forward to the upcoming opening of an on-site coffeehouse. The bookstore offers a wide range of educational and thought-provoking titles, with a focus on topics such as sex and gender, trans lives, food, and people of color. It also has a collection of documentaries. The store is well-organized, ADA compliant, and will soon have a Mother Foucault's coffee shop across the street, providing a cozy spot for late-night browsing and reading. Reviewers have praised the unique book selection, the enthusiasm and helpfulness of the staff, and the overall welcoming atmosphere of the new Literary Arts location. The store is open to suggestions and will order books that are not currently in stock.

Lovely from start to finish. My pastry and coffee from the cafe were perfect. The store is beautiful with an incredible selection. And the whole building is just mission oriented in the best way. We need more places like this in more cities. One of the parts of Portland I wished I could bring home in my pocket.

Loved how the whole place looked and felt. A really great selection of books. Will definitely be going back and looking forward to trying the cafe next time too.
