I love shopping locally and try to whenever possible. This toy store is near my house so I went there to get a baby gift. It’s a really cute store and appears to have a great variety of toys and books. However, when I walked in I didn’t think there was anyone working there! No one said a word - I was wondering if they were closed and forgot to lock up!! Then I realized there was someone sitting behind the counter in almost a booth. The entire time I was there this person was on their phone. Never looked up to acknowledge me or anyone else who walked in. I could have used some help but honestly felt like I would be imposing on this person. I ended up picking out something small for the baby and for the 4 year old sibling. I probably would have spent more money and time had I been asked if I needed any help!! Or had any kind of friendly greeting! As it was I sort of couldn’t wait to leave - I felt like I was imposing! I see why so many people shop online - you don’t expect to get any help there! Disappointing.

The store is amazing! Love the selection and products available. The workers there though leave much to be desired. Not a friendly, welcoming environment other than all the colorful toys everywhere, but the service was cold. Neither woman working while I was there earlier today spoke to any customer unless they were spoken to first, yet they had plenty to say to each other including about the customers who had just walked out the door, along with personal life stuff they were chatting about behind the counter. Makes me wonder if I really ever want to go there again, it's been one of my favorite toy shops for 10+ years... I hope these two today were the anomaly and that there's some actual friendly and service-oriented people who work there- if not, ya need to hire some!

I think I could've spent several hours here just browsing at all the things and buying gifts for my 2, 5, and 7-year olds. Outside of big retailers, there aren't many good, physical toy stores left and this one has all the feels of being a kid and going into a toy store with wondrous delight everywhere you turn. Here, it's not on app on the screen: Touch, feel, and see the toys because they've got new stuff and "oh my gosh, remember this?!" stuff. There is something for almost every age group and a nice price range of items to choose from as well: stuffed animals, puzzles, stickers, cute pens, toy cars, wooden toys, legos, and so much more. I almost missed the "hidden" book section in the back! I do agree with another yelper that the employees are rather aloof and a bit unhelpful, but there isn't much one can help, unless you are looking for something specific and you're in a hurry. If you have kids and/or you're looking for gifts/rewards, this place is def a must-stop!

The store itself is amazing for kids stuff! My son, wife and I were the only people in the store for ten plus minutes and the two people behind the counter never acknowledged us however and just continued to talk about random podcasts the entire time. At checkout it felt like we were an inconvenience to their day and they had to pause their conversation. Bad experience but awesome stuff!
