Very unprofessional, rude, the drinks and food are subpar but the prices are high. Owner harassed me about a parking spot and threatened to call the police. So I called them instead and filed a harassment report. As a black woman I am very disgusted and disappointed to be treated less than human by a fellow African American citizen. I am a decorated war hero and should have never received this type of treatment just because of a parking spot. I DO NOT RECOMMEND SUPPORTING A BLACK BUSINESSES THAT DON’T POSSESS INTEGRITY. NOT ONLY WAS THE SUPPOSED OWENER RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL WHILE THREATENING ME SO WERE THE OTHER 2 BLACK EMPLOYEES.
BLACK PEOPLE LIKE YOU ARE WHAT IS WRONG WITH OUR COMMUNITY! See you in court!

I was a frequent customer of Joe Browns and April 28th, 2024 was the second occurrence, in a matter of weeks, of hair being present in my popcorn purchase from the MLK location. The hair is attached through the carmel coating. I have attached pictures for reference. I hope practices are put in place to prevent this from occurring in the future.

I actually stopped in to the Lounge side for some Catfish. My cousin recommended this place, and it surely did not let me down. The food was so good I had to travel with it, and the second part I ate cold. Still I'm impressed with the taste, and the staff were really nice. Can't wiat to go back...

First time stopping by, I've been meaning to for a while. Everyone was so kind and caring. I haven't felt so welcomed in a very long time. My only regret is I was just stopping for a drink. I'm going to come back and grab some food with friends because if it's half as good as the service it's going to rock my world.Thank you

First time customers tonight- our waitress was the kindest and post attentive human being. Food was great. Cook or owner can out to check on us. Would highly recommend stopping in. Worth the visit!

Was told this place has amazing food and… I was not disappointed! The secret Joe sauce is to die for. Yes, yes go for the food of course, but stay for the sweet staff! They treated us like family and we felt so welcomed the second we walked in. We will be back again, thanks guys!!
