I am extremely disappointed with Icebreaker’s customer service. I returned an item following all of their instructions, and even though tracking shows they received it, they refuse to process my refund, citing some ‘error’ on their end. It’s frustrating and feels like they’re avoiding responsibility. If you value reliable service and straightforward returns, I’d think twice before ordering from Icebreaker.

Echoing what others have said, quality has steeply declined and CS is very poor/uninformed/just makes things up to avoid making good on the warranty and returns. My leggings used to get holes in them and run after 5-6 months of decent use, and I just ate that, but the recent pairs I purchased I havent even had for a month and already they're developing holes. Terrible products now and an apathetic company.

Went in to the Portland store to return a pair of socks with holes in them and store manager refused to make good on Icebreaker's lifetime sock guarantee. She said it's now two years and requires proof of purchase. And then she told me "have a nice day." Beware: The policy apparently has changed (or the Portland store manager is interpreting it differently).

People are always nice there. And it's a pretty ethical business. Not a huge company but does high high high quality wool based clothing. Ever since I discovered them almost a decade ago, I have been buying half of my clothes there. The ticket price may be higher because it's real high quality wool, but I always try to catch a sale to save some hard earned dollars. Also last time I went, I asked an employee does the company treat them well. She said yes, she loves it there. During COVID, she worked other jobs that couldn't wait to get sick people back in office without a care for how others would get infected, but when she quit and started working at Icebreaker, when people got sick, the office is actually paying for sick times and plenty of time for employees to rest and recover and not infect more people. That was def the kind of employer behavior I'd like to support.

Been trying to go to this store all week. Supposed to be open but there's a sign on the door that says "closed due to technical issues, will open tomorrow." But there's no date on the sign and they don't open the next day. Called customer service and they said they don't know anything but several people have called with same complaint.

i love their gear, and in general everyone who works there is friendly and helpful, but one blonde woman who was working there would not take her eyes off me and breathed down my neck the entire time, acting like an overeager LP with no subtlety. She kept knocking when I was trying clothes on, and literally wouldn’t take her eyes off me to help her new coworker, straining her neck instead. The vibe was so bad and aggressive that I just left without wanting to buy anything after all.

Might be a great store, but I wouldn't know. I've been here two days in a row now within their posted temporary hours to puck up a ship-to-store order, and both times it has been closed.

I cut my hike short this weekend to come back to the city to shop at icebreaker bcs I love the brand and found this sign, they closed way before normal times which is ridiculous. Messed up my day, could’ve stayed on the trails 2 more hours. Unacceptable customer service
