My inside driver door handle was broken by Honest1 Auto (presumably from being opened forcefully) while my car was in for transmission fluid service. I noticed when I got into my car and asked for it to be repaired, and it was put back together very poorly, but it was at the end of business and I had already been waiting several hours so I decided to go home. Last night my car was almost broken into due to my driver side door being unlocked, I awoke to my car alarm and assume it scared them away. I’ve now realized my remote key has not been locking my driver side door due to the poor repair, and I now must manually lock the door each time. I used to really like this place and had a good relationship with a manager but I think leadership changes have unfortunately harmed the quality.

I showed up without an appointment seeking help because my under carriage was dragging. I was swiftly seen and taken care of. Friendly guy at the desk was happy to try and help!

They did a break inspection for free, compared to $120 at Green Drop. Robert was very kind and explained everything to me. Great service and very personable.

I will not be returning here. My car started sputtering I took it in. They didn't have me sign anything like a quote or plan or anything. They said they would call me with an update. I got no call for the first few days, so I called them. They said would either be a flush for the fuel injector, and if that didn't work they would have to take apart my whole engine and "perform open heart surgery" on my car. The more intensive work would cost around $3300. My car ended up needing the $3300 fix. I called again at the end of the week to get an update since no one had called me to update me. They had to send a part to the machine shop, they said it would take a few days. After that week, I ended up calling 3-4 times (they had my car for a total of 3 1/2 weeks) and each time I called, something else they found needed fixing. No one called me to have me approve these fixes, or update me on my car.
I then called on a friday (3rd week without a car) they said it would be done on saturday. No call. I was out of town, so I call on Tuesday after I got back, and they said they found ANOTHER THING that needed fixing. By this point I was livid. I was without a car for 3 1/2 weeks, I had to take lyfts and ubers to get around, I didn't get any updates on what was going on with my car. When I called on Tuesday Jason told me that the cost of repairs was now over $4000. Again I didn't approve any of these fixes to my car. I asked jason to email me an itemized quote, he said he couldn't because the "system was down" so I asked him if he could text me a picture of the quote, he said he would have to ask some of the guys if they had a phone that could do that. (very hard to believe that he couldn't send a quote to me somehow in this day and age).
So I went down to the shop myself. After confronting Jason and letting him know my frustration and lack of customer service on his part, he told me he tried to hook me up with as many discounts and "hook ups" as he could, now resulting in $3671. Which is still over the amount of the original quote, and somehow miraculously got rid of $400 worth of charges since showin up at the shop. Jason also said that when you go into a car you just dont know what you're going to find, which I understand, but you should be informing me of what I am paying for before you do the work so I can make that decision for my own car. It's my money I'm spending.
He ended up replacing the head bolts because they broke off somehow. He also replaced all the lifts in the engine, he charged me for an oil change which I didn't ask for. If you're doing work on my car and the "open heart surgery" that costs $3300, I'm sure you can spare a complimentary oil change.
I didn't appreciate the way jason talked to me like I should know the things that needed to be done with this extensive repair.
Jasons' apology to me "sorry for the lack of communication, but you never know what you're going to find when you get into a job". First off, not an apology if you have a but after it. Second, I understand you find things, but letting the person that's giving you money should be involved in the decisions for their own property. You should also actually fix the problem instead of creating more.
I ended up paying for the $3671.46 for them to break my car even more.
I have now been back 3 times since they worked on my car to fix the problems that arose after they "fixed"it. My car is anything but fixed, and on the last trip in they managed to break my bumper light off, when I asked them about it, the tech said, "I don't know, it was hot yesterday". Are you trying to say that if my car gets hot enough that parts will just start to fall off of my car!? When I asked the tech the last time I was in why my car was still making the noise that they acknowledged was

If I could give you guys more stars, I so would! I am beyond impressed with the service to my vehicle and impecable customer service. I dropped my car off and they had it ready to go in less than a week. While that isn’t always the case due to needing to order parts that they may not have it stock, I got very lucky. They also have awesome financing options that made this trip a little easier on me financially. They are also very affordable and not trying to scam you out of your hard earned money. I’ve had so many negative experiences with other mechanics, but not here! Worth every damn penny! I would highly recommend these hardworking folks to anyone I know that needs their cars serviced.

Booked a $40 oil change appointment with a coupon, was charged $80 anyway. Asked if they checked the air filter, they stated it “looked fine” and they blew it out. In my car, the air filter is encased under the hood, and it clearly hadn’t been touched (quite dusty due to pollen season, would have been very obvious if it was opened up) “Honest” auto care it certainly ain’t. Go somewhere else. UPDATE: yes it was absolutely this location despite the owner comment. It was booked under a different name. The coupon was added at appointment booking, and we were not asked about type of oil, just charged and sent on our way. Love that their first response is “it wasn’t us”! Unable to take accountability as well

Amazing service! The people at Honest Auto Care are trustworthy, transparent, so knowledgeable, and kind. As a woman who knows nothing about cars and is scared to do anything car related because I’ve been scammed many times before I felt so taken care of here! Highly recommend!!
