For a company that advertises one-day delivery, mine has been rescheduled twice and is now expected 10 days after I ordered it. The first delivery was scheduled a generous 5 days after I put in the order, and 7am that morning they canceled it unexpectedly. The reason they gave is that they sent the wrong truck to pick it up (you'd think that's an easily-solvable issue). Support assured me it would be delivered the following day. And now I got an email with NO explanation saying it'll be another 5 days before they deliver. Note that all of these items are in stock at the store, and have been the whole time, so there's no supply challenge. I adjusted work and personal schedules to accommodate their extremely wide delivery window, and to make sure I could do my project over the weekend. They have wasted my time and money in this regard and may have lost me as a customer altogether. I am disappointed in their lack of respect for customer time, and lack of transparency in delays. The only saving grace was a responsive support person who listened and was able to give more information -- even though it ended up being wrong.

We frequently shop at this location (Jantzen Beach) while we're in the Portland area. The store is always clean and shelves stocked. Employees are friendly and helpful. Returns are a breeze. We've also ordered items online for pick-up at the store. The online ordering and pick-up process is simple and painless. Would definitely recommend this location.

Donald K. Has exceptional costumer service. He went above and beyond to help us out today 08/20/23. We are glad there are still people who truly love their job, this man needs a raise. Thank you again Donald K from Home Depot!

should have done more research. takes weeks to get an install and now the door is defective and is going to take another week and a half. only installer Home Depot uses is Kraft so be aware it takes too long and Home Depot cannot do anything about it. really? have more than one contractor!

I see home Depot now has a side hustle to generate profit. At the customer self service scanner when prompted if I wanted bags I chose yes. Come to find out there were none at that scanner so I started looking at others and found none. I asked an employee and he said there were none, and talk to my supervisor. When I did she told me I should have seen that there were none before making my selection! What a dullard answer!

I'm giving this star because bad customers service, because I don't know why they have a sign saylong enter/wait here if they are not going to respect it , person are just going in throw the exit sign and cutting others customers off ...it doesn't matter if they have a question but rules are rules and it should be follow at all time and it's go for customers & employees..For me that's not fear for others because they been waiting for there turn and people just cut them off ...I'm disappointed on custome service at jonzen beach Home Depot....

Got pickup for a 5-gallon paint, it was decent. I'm not a huge supporter of their controversial funding for certain things, but today's experience was decent with the employee.

Let's be clear, I have a 20 year relationship with multiple Home Depots scattered across the nation. I've flipped 13 houses in 9 years... they've gotten a good mint from me throughout that time. They're typically a quick and simple go-to for whatever gadget you need to finish a product. Heck, not sure I've ever even reviewed a Home Depot... this one earned every word of this review. The night I stopped in here was the worst Home Depot experience ever, this location is horrible. All I needed was a refund. I purchased excess caulking for a project and just needed to return a couple tubes. Easy, right? WRONG. Six employees were IN the Customer Service area. Six.... the number after five. A whole fist of people + a finger from the other side... six... only ONE of them was 'almost' working... the other five were standing around doing nothing. One was literally playing on their cell phone. There was a line TO THE DOOR, people were having to excuse themselves around the line just to get in the building and the staff was doing nothing about it. NOTHING. I've seen some poorly and under managed retail stores... this one takes the cake. To the Store Manager, you've failed. To the staff, you're being paid for doing nothing - lucky you. To Home Depot Corporate... this review right here is why you're not as profitable as you should and could be. Fire all your management and start over. This was PATHETIC. Everything about this location is abysmal.

Worst experience ever, this place is horrible - they messed up my flooring installation four times - and when they never return calls - I will never recommend Home Depot for any home installation-

Home Depot usually seems understaffed and underwhelming, but Doug (the assistant manager, I think?) provided AMAZING service on a recent visit. I was seriously blown away! I was looking for a certain model of air purifier (the website said there were 5 in stock, but the store had zero). Doug looked everywhere for one, called another store, put up with being transferred and on hold forever, and finally found out the airport store had the exact air purifier on the shelf. He wasn't just twiddling his thumbs while he was on hold, though. He was opening boxes, cleaning up displays, etc. And he was really nice and apologetic when I felt like I should be apologizing to HIM! Home Depot should give him a huge raise or something because he's the kind of employee that companies should try to hang on to. He truly went above and beyond.

We ordered items online for pickup at the Home Depot Jantzen Beach location, after placing the order we waited 4 hours before going to the store (I tried to call and see if it was ready but no one answered the phone) so we arrived at the store just around 4 hours and I was told by someone in customer service the order wasn't even ready yet the minimum amount of time it takes them to start is 4 hours so no one had done anything yet, I was then told to pick the order myself and given a pick list. When we started to pick the order we couldn't find the 10 pieces of ply wood, so I asked the assistant store manager Eric where it was as online the stock showed plenty.. He had absolutely no idea. We then go to also pick out the flooring (of which online stated the store had 212 feet of it available and also mind you you can't add this to an online order so we were going to pay for it separately) we are told by the person manning the cut to length station its in the back probably still on the truck he would speak to the manager and get it ready tomorrow for us. So at this point we just pick the items in stock and check out at customer service and start to head out before realizing an item we picked was the wrong color so we go instore and found the right one and brought it to customer service, this young man had no uniform on and no apparent care for his job he just said "I have no idea just have fun" took the wrong item and had us leave. We return the next day to get the flooring and plywood, we walk to the back to see the flooring is still not there and the same associate from the other day has no idea where the flooring is, so we then had over to customer service to pick up the plywood they tell us to head over to lumber to pick it up, the two employees in the lumber area tell us to head over to an unmarked side of the building, we waited 15+ minutes in the 100+ degree heat before I go in and finally have them find the order that was actually right in the lumber area.

Terrible location, possibly even a terrible company to WORK for. I was let go today because of an incident that happened LAST WEEK with a customer IN the parking lot ON MY LUNCH BREAK. the dude almost ran me over with his truck and I had to pound on the hood of his car so he was making eye contact with me so as to not RUN ME OVER AND KILL ME. of course. Anyone would be shocked and heated in the moment. As he apologized and gave me lip about sitting in a parking spot, I told him he should PAY ATTENTION AND OPEN HIS EYES when he's driving: TODAY I got fired BECAUSE OF THAT INCIDENT. Complete BS. I've dedicated my life to working for Home Depot for over 2 years and this is what I get. TERRIBLE COMPANY. Don't work for them! They don't deserve ANY stars.
