Shiny, royal blue, patent leather Docs? Never worn? Why, yes, please!! I added the rainbow laces ? . LOVE them!
And, I LOVE the folks at HWGA, who have several times noticed my errors in my clumsy on-line ordering, corrected them, making sure I got my goodies. Yay customer service!!
When I am next in PDX, I look forward to meeting everyone in store, in person!! Xo!

I’ve shopped at HWGA, on/off, for over 20-25 years since the location was on Barbur Blvd. in Portland and now to the location on Caroline St. Portland.
The camaraderie at the store is the best of any of Portland’s consignment stores. I just experienced this as I spent two days going to all of our consignment stores looking for a garment for an upcoming wedding and HWGA was the only one where I was greeted. Upon entering the store, there is always someone that greets you which makes a customer feel very welcome and warm.
By the time I left HWGA, I felt like I already knew Amanda, the Manager. I decided to bring some of my own options for the wedding in the hope of finding a top and she and another customer helped give me a yay or nay ?Even though I didn’t find something for the wedding I always find something as the selection and quality is superb, like it’s always been. Looking forward to seeing Chris again, the owner as she’s always been the best.

HWGA is a gem! It’s always such a treat shopping there and finding new treasures. The inventory is always updating and the staff are always friendly, genuine and helpful. I’ve been shopping here for over 10 years and always will!

Been taking my clothes there since 2015. They always move everything I bring in and have a great selection of clothing, shoes, purses, and jewelry. Happy to do business with them!

I have been here several times whenever I’m in Portland, and I always leave happily with a purchase or two. There is lots tochose from here and the quality of the items are consistently good. The store is also arranged stylishly to give you some inspiration. My only addition would be to have the friendly staff check in when you are in the dressing room. I know you can’t change sizes given everything is one of a kind, however it’s a nice customer service feature.

Love this place!!! My friend told me about it and I stopped in to check it out the other day. Everyone is so friendly there, I found some amazingly gorgeous clothes, and felt so supported with the feedback from the people who work there. It was a really fun shopping experience and I'll be back many times over. Thank you for being here!!!

Whoever does the curating/vetting at HWGA lives inside my mind! I could've spent hours and a fortune there if I had a benefactor! The clothing selection is fantastic and the racks are not crammed at all! The staff seem to love their jobs and share their passion for clothes.
