I was recommended to bring my VW here from the advice of another excellent shop. They always find a way to get me into the schedule. The repairs and maintenance cost amount approval can be done remotely online after they inspect your car which is great . I had an old part replaced and when I brought it back later the same thing had broken but they honored their own part warranty without me knowing there was an issue beforehand so they are clearly honest as well. Highly recommend.

Gave them a try after hearing of the experiences of others, I could not be happier with my own service experience from Heckmann & Thiemann on my M491 911! All communication (from inspection to progress updates) was comprehensive and timely. However, where I was pleasantly surprised was in how flexible the team was to my "out of town" circumstances. This flexibility included accommodating the car being towed in from the coast and confirming they received it, storing the car for multiple weeks at an extremely reasonable rate until my upholstery shop was ready, and actually delivering the car to the upholstery shop! Milo was a pleasure to work with, as was Bryan - both as he worked to resolve all my car's needs as well as educating me on what was completed.

Milo and crew were friendly, knowledgeable and quick to act on a small issue with my classic Porsche. Their facility is large, clean and an absolute Museum for classic German autos. Fortunately my cars issue was minor but I will definitely return for any future needs.

This is the most helpful, communicative, and kind shop I have ever worked with. They provide online itemized bill prior to starting work on your car where you can "confirm" or "refuse" services if you'd like. They call and/or text with updates throughout the day. They have went above & beyond in my five or so experiences with them. I always feel like my car is in good hands when it is with them. Good location, clean shop, and amazing people who know what they're doing!

We recently brought in our daughter's Passat wagon, which has many issues! And they were able to diagnose all of the "issues" complete the repairs quickly and we made it through DEQ! Very happy with their service and highly recommend!

I recently had my vw bug worked on at Hickman &Thielman. My car was in the shop for a week. I received texts and phone calls with updates. My car was completed early, and was spotless when I picked it up. Their repairs are always high quality and the employees are friendly and up to date with what is going on with my ?.

Wonderful interaction with the owner/manager, was shuttled back home and got my car delivered very quickly, about 24hrs after drop off. Milo, Phillis and Ed Thiemman himself were all a pleasure to talk with. Intermediate service cost was roughly the same price as the Porsche dealership, but much easier to get in their shop schedule and faster turnaround. Will be back with my air-cooled 911.

Always, I repeat Always, repairs at Heckmann Thiemann are exceptionally. No sales…simply efficient repairs and service. For years and years, I sought resolve for my 1979 SuperBettle. Only Heckmann Thiemann recognized and resolved the problem. Immediately! Not even the Volkswagen dealership could help me! The people - each and every one of them are so very kind, understanding. They live service. A Special Place. Special People.
