Nice place with breakfast (plenty of options for kids and adults) with a super friendly staff...except a couple of stinkers at the front desk, oh well. The shift manager was helpful and enjoyed getting to know the guests a little. It has free breakfast and a short drive to plenty of local food, wineries, breweries and shopping areas. Clean pool and hot tub with a small exercise room...and plenty of coffee all day, too.

This hotel stole money from my brother. He was there on a work trip and the room was paid for in full before they checked in. The front desk took his card to “secure” the room and then proceeded to charge multiple charges for $371 and $321 and over drafted his account and refused to reimburse. There was no damage to the room in any way. The manager of the hotel said they were “looking into it”. He had his HR department call and fight with the hotel for a day and then had to report the charges to his bank as fraud. They were able to recover one of the charges and are still working on the next one. Horrible service. Also very random but they also stole his deodorant when they cleaned his room and it was inside of his suitcase when he left the room.

This is a really nice Hampton Inn. The staff was very welcoming and we enjoyed our stay. The Hampton is located just outside of Portland but is only a few minutes away via I84 expressway. Our room was clean and quiet and the complimentary breakfast was really good. Highly recommended.

I've stayed here at least a dozen times at this point and the hotel is always nice and clean. The little bit I have dealt with the staff, they've always been nice and friendly.

I stayed here because it was away from Downtown Portland. It's quite far from everything I wanted to do and is east from the airport. Parking is free and the staff was decent. There is a gym and pool (which I didn't visit), but the pool is definitely indoor. I was arrived earlier to the hotel than planned and they were able to accommodate me without issue. The room was on the smaller side from what I am accostomed to at Hampton Inn hotels, but it sufficed overall and clean. The bathroom was spacious with a hairdryer. There's a small refrigerator and microwave in the room too. Breakfast was okay. I am not sure if it's because there aren't many people staying at the property or I came 30 minutes before 10am, but the wasn't much selection for food in terms of pastries. There is hot food (eggs, sausage & potatoes). I do like that they have some items in plastic baggies because it makes it easy when you're on-the-go. The property has cameras everywhere which is nice. It is also located on a main street so if you don't live on a main street you might want a room facing away from the street. My room faced the street and I was able to hear the traffic passing through in the morning.

Pool had nasty hair floating around. The worst part is when we went to the room and I desperately needed a shower which is fine a nice shower after a dirty swim is fine with me so I jumped in first. But not long in the shower I realized the conditioner bottle on the wall was empty so I also needed a razor since I was stuck in the shower not able to finish without conditioner I have curly hair I sent my kids to the front desk to get conditioner which should have been stocked up on the wall it says to ask the font desk if you need anything else! well my 15year old went down for me since I was stuck in the shower and needed to finish up. They had the nerve to tell her they can't give razors to children, and then said go to the store for conditioner! this place is soooo ridiculous never coming back plus the bathroom had no fan! When my daughter tried to get onto the Wi-Fi it was not working so again we called down to the front desk this time I wanted to hear if the guy was going to be rude to her and he was he said use a promo code and as we were trying to find where to put the promo code he hung up the guy's name was Tom very horrible stay

Hilton Hotel Chains are the best, and The Hampton is part of that chain. Nice clean pool, hot tub, room and an awesome free breakfast. Only stay at Hilton /Hamton Inns cause I know what I am going to get.Rooms: Clean and spaciousNearby activities: Great location lots of convenient shopping and plenty of places to eat

Check-in was horrendous, and the elderly man was not at all friendly! Not only was he rude to myself but also the customers in front of me. To top it off, he cursed at another customer on the phone. The room was extremely clean and spacious. The location isn't close to anything but 2 gas stations.

I’ve been a Hilton gold membership for 5 years , and I’ve never seen such an unprofessional service. We stayed at Hampton Inn Portland East for 1 night on 7/29/2023. Check-in was the worst check-in experience I have ever had . Staff was rude and unprofessional. A couple of examples : 1) he asked for information which I already provided him on an Pet info sheet that I just filled out and gave him . I said it’s on there , he said impatiently “ it’s not in the system , that’s why I asked” . I had to tell him I meant to say it’s on that info sheet . 2) he asked me to show credit card used for reservation without explaining the reason for it . I asked was it for payment purpose / for verification or something else . He said” I don’t know , not too sure “ . 3) staff was also extremely slow in processing the check-Ins. The entire check-in process took us almost 30 mins ( 15 wait for just 1 customer ahead of us + 15 mins for processing our check-in) .I could have just used Hilton app to check in with digital keys , and skipped all these . The only reason I went to the reception desk was that I wanted to get keys for the other room I booked ( we travelled with our parents , booked one for us , and one for our parents)4) I suspect the staff is racist . Thought I have limited data point to fully support this, at least he was very friendly chatting with the white lady in front of us , which definitely was not the attitude he put on with us .We usually use Hilton Honors points to book for higher end hotel rooms , and this experience ruined my faith in Hilton brand .

What a service. At 2:30 in the morning, after a very unpleasant experience in the neighborhood, the very nice receptionist helped me find a room and called over 10 other hotels. Thanks again for that!

Location is great.Check-in: Friendly but took so long. After a long day of travel, less chatting and quicker service would be good.Breakfast: Needed to remind the staff member to restock cups, forks, etc, and to put out some of the necessary things (cereals and jams). Seems a little more training would help make the breakfast buffet more complete..Coffee: The lobby coffee was fresh just one out of many times I got some. Usually lukewarm.Pool: We enjoyed using the pool, coin laundry and fitness room.

Hampton is not where I normally stay. So I can't compare to others. The one ending in express is my usual. Room was clean and modern. Room was quite. I was less than impressed overall. Hard to get desk help. Breakfast was always 30 minutes plus late. You have to ask for towels or room cleaning. Staff just seemed to not care. I might stay again but would probably look around firstRooms: Clean

We stayed here on our way to Washington. Place is well maintained, beds are clean, television works, and coffee maker brews. Coffee is also available in the lobby late night too.We came in late so we didn’t get a chance to try the pool, hot tub or gym.Breakfast is hearty too.A few suggestions to make:The coffee maker in the room is an old fashion grounded coffee. It would be good to have a Keurig machine to use our pods in.Some of the power outlets were not working but there were plenty around so we went to the next outlet. Power outlets available by the tv, lamps, and walls. The bathroom door really should have a lock. A room with double beds doesn’t make sense having a bathroom door that does not lock.Safety: The surrounding area is very quiet at night.
