“Such a lovely grocery store with actual community integrity. There is a focus on reusing containers, sharing extra with the community, and providing quality products. The values of the store also make me feel especially safe. Highly recommend.”
“Not oy do I go here to get the best dinner options and fresh fruits and veggies but the people are amazing. You can't go wrong with trader joes. Their store is the best.”
“Nice selection of fresh produce and packaged products. Still have lots of pumpkins, squash and gourds, plus a corn maze! Take a look at the gourd and squash decoration at work made with a purchase from Growers Outlet.”
“One of the most healthiest bread in town and best price at Trader Joe's ???
"Ezekiel Bread" ALL organic/ Non GMO/ zero sugar and cholesterol. ??????”
“We make a weekly trip to our Grocery Outlet to buy things like green plantains, mixed nuts, Lara bars, kombucha, and avocado oil. These items are priced below other grocery stores but we cannot depend on them being in stock. The only downside of shopping here is that they are often stocking shelves, making it tough to get around the store.”
“Trader Joe's if you've never been to one, check it out. Typically "healthy" food lots of pre-made heat n eat items in the frozen section and relatively inexpensive. Best chocolate milk around. Very friendly and courteous checkers.”
“Fantastic neighborhood store. Great natural selection of foods; lots of great local options. Many things you can't find elsewhere. A true gem you shouldn't miss.”
“I visited Portland for over 2 months and Cullen‘s Corner quickly became my Corner store of choice. You are guaranteed to get all the necessary essentials and Mr. Lee the Shop owner always makes sure to take his time with his customers to ensure we are content. Its not just a random Corner store. Mr. Lee welcomes you with open hands. Will miss having such an amazing corner store back home.”
“Great variety of foods and fresh produce. Variety of ingredients and snacks you won't find at typical grocery stores. I'm always grabbing something hot and ready at the deli when I'm on the go!”
“Best place for organic foods- on a budget prices were more affordable at one time. Hope They plan on keeping poverty in mind as a coreporate philosophy to help the affordable food in hands of everyone.”

5154 SE Foster Rd, Portland“So GOOD! Been waiting for the cart was open and it very much surpassed our expectations! Everything is so flavorful, the value is good. The chicken curry was amazing. I would and will take friends and family here! And they're so nice! But closed on wednesdays.”
“This store is great to find Eastern Mediterranean and Middle Eastern food and ingredients. It also has some hard to find European food items. It's counters provide finished meals as well as fresh ingredients.I expect many items to be a bit more expensive than the local Safeway. And some are. But surprisingly many of the specialty items that you also find in your local supermarket are cheaper here.It is a pleasure to shop here. It is a bit of a trip to far away lands and there always lurks something curious around every corner of the narrow isles.Good times!”
“Favorite grocery store in town. Best prices on 1 pound packs of grass-fed beef, and often there is other grass-fed products such as steaks, butter, etc.
There's also always fun unexpected treats. Ya never know what you'll find. :)”
“The staff, and departments are impeccable, efficient, and very attentive. It offers bathrooms to the client, security and open all year round. Thank you, thank you very much to the entire team. (if you had a bad experience, it's probably you!!)”
“Hard workers and kind, clean nice looking store, good prices and larger selection, I was surprise to see items here I’ve never seen else where! Definitely check this place out and support them.”
“I LOVE Sheridan. My 3 stars is not probably their fault. Prices have increased so much that it's difficult for me to shop there anymore. With that said prices have increased and quality has dropped (produce and meat). You won't find everything here but it's awesome. You will need to keep up with the prices and the lack of items that used to be available.”
“Nothing bad to say except I miss the old location and wish they were more centrally located but to be fair, they're an important vegan addition to the east side”
“Great selection of spices, grains, frozen goods, wine, tinned fish, olive oil, sweets…..what am I missing? Tea, coffee, sauces, vinegars….basically all the good stuff. This spot is a gem.”
“The shop is exactly what you would expect of a small shop. Everything is fairly priced and is in my opinion one of the best places to get exotic asain fruit with the addition of quality ingredients. The shop isn't much to look at but it is worth shopping. This is a sweet spot for chefs and home cooks alike.”
“I happened to be in Portland and checked out this African store. Mama Pauline's African Market beats my expectation with exceptional customer service. They have a great stock of African food, meat, dried fish, beverages and spices. Try them out.”
“What a treat! Amazing representation of many vegan businesses in Portland. We are visiting for the month and loved being able to find incredible products and foods in every category from grab n go to frozen. We were impressed by how many vegan pastry treats were available and the produce, delicioso!!! Special place to visit for either a drop by or on going shopping.”
“It's one of my go-to Thai stores. Has lots of varieties, including a small deli section with pre-cooked/pre-made foods! Check listing for business hours--they are closed on some weekdays. Highly recommended. ?”
“I've driven by this market on a weekly basis for the past 5 years and finally stopped in. Specialized market with extensive prepared foods deli and restaurant. A bakery, pharmacy, and wide variety of can and shelf items, Russian/Roman in orgin and labeling. Don't forget the caviar$ Offers delivery”
“Whenever I'm needing any Latin or Mexican specific ingredients I usually swing on in to see what they have for me here. This is my first stop as well for banana leaves. Great selection of produce!”
“This place is amazing. Very helpful customer service. Nobody following you around and telling you to leave like one other post(pan tek) that review is absolutely wrong. I've been in there 5 min before they close and they still let me take my time.”
“Thank you for helping to make our son and I's Birthday dinner special by having that very nice homemade Lard for the Carnitas we made, and your homemade tortillas that your wife made was extra complimentary! Thank you for being in our neighborhood! You are Diamonds!!
Sincerely The Peabody Family???”

4516 NE 42nd Ave, Portland“Went looking for scotch bonnet peppers and left with so much more! They’ve got a good selection of Afro-Caribbean spices, grains, soaps, sauces, plantains, scotch bonnets, meat, and beverages. Aruna, one of the owners, is super helpful. I’ll be back!”
“Super high quality of locally sourced pasture raised meats that can only usually be found in the farmers market, including lamb and beef bones. Can be pricy but you pay for quality.”
“What a top notch, customer oriented business. I bought there for first time about a week ago. Got product home and there were some issues with quality. I contacted them and they graciously resolved the issue immediately, with no arm wrestling necessary to resolve the issue. Went out if their way to insure I was satisfied. You have earned another lifelong customer. Thank you.”
