Got an estimate October 2023 for my car. The soonest they could get it in was December 13th 2023. On December 11th was told they couldn’t take my car til 2025 and I already had a rental set up for the 13th. Way to wait till the last minute.

Stay away if you ever want to get your vehicle repaired! Got an estimate on September 1, 2022. Put down $250 to reserve spot for repair on April 3, 2023. They blew that off. It's August. Will get repair done at another shop. They keep telling me they are refunding my $250. Lies. It's been a month. Multiple calls to this shop and Gerber National. "We Will straighten it out." Lies. Best I can tell they've stolen my $250. STAY AWAY!!!!!

I scheduled an appointment to have my car estimated. It was a small dent on the bumper. It took 2 weeks to get an appointment for anestimate. I went there and had to wait awhile and finally the guy came out. He said he was going to give me a high quote in case there was other damage he did not see. I told him we wanted the option to pay out of pocket so asked for an estimate as well for just the damage on the bumper and then he could give me an estimate for possible damage not seen. He said that would be hard to do and would take some time. Instead of waiting I asked to have the quote sent to me. He would not give me an estimate on how long it would take either I never heard from him again. Never got my quote. Very disappointed in their service or lack there of. FYI...this was at the Science Drive location in Beaverton.

Nightmare from the first day to the end. Got me in with an estimate of $1,800.- just to hear from my insurance that the real estimate is 4,500.- and they totaled our car. Gerber put our car together and it took me two weeks to fix the terrible job they did. Window didn't work, lights didn't work ( and they worked all fine before I took it to Gerber. I would not even recommend this place to my biggest enemy. It was very very frustrating to work with this place

Under new management. It's been a rough ride for the customer thru the turnover, but Jess is making it right. And Angela is the best! Love her!

This is the most disorganized and down right incompetent auto body shop in ALL of Portland. They have had my car for 5 months and it has not been touched. There has been ZERO proactive communication with them at all. James, the "mgr" is defensive, offensive, and down right rude. He told me that he would not escalate my compliant as it was not an emergency to him. Filing with the BBB. Do NOT take your cAr here. Horrible!

One of the worst, most anxiety inducing experiences in my life, and it's still going. In brief; car in the shop 2 months for repair of two side panels. 2 months! Took 2 weeks to get claim adjuster and to order parts, so just sitting there doing nothing, okay. Then a whole month goes by with updates of, "we are in the middle of the repair,"....also okay. Then the last two weeks are just pure hell - "we have not been able to repair one of the panels, it's back ordered indefinitely"...why was it not ordered in the first place? Next week's update " we were able to get the panel fixed, but now the Rocker molding is on back order, we only have 2 out of 6 parts". Why was this not ordered before? Next update...."we have the car in the detail shop". Great, that means we're close! The day it should be done....update, "we could not calibrate your car, the calibrator is not working". Are you F***king kidding me!!! So first Audi is the POS but now your stupid calibrator is not working? My car is sill in the shop and that is the only reason I have not set that building on fire.

Staff that answers the phones are very friendly. Once they had my car they kept us updated on when parts were coming and an estimated amount of time to get the car back. I feel like they made sure I was aware of the process as getting parts from Tesla takes time. They actually got it done sooner than originally expected and it looks great. Thank you for all the hard work and fixing my car back to good as new!Service: Body & Trim

I have used Gerber multiple times in the past. I was so satisfied with the overall experience and the work they do that I kept going back. Recently I had a minor warranty issue and the manager and all employees I delt with where very professional and pleasant to work with. They repaired it with no hassles and again very satisfied with the end results. I will definitely use them in the future.Services: Body & Trim

Gerber Collision and the estimator (Elijah G.) are some of the most incompetent automotive establishments & employees I have ever had the displeasure of working with. Not only are they (Gerber & Elijah) incapable of using their eyes to do their one job of actually assessing damage to vehicles, they are also dismissive, condescending, and unable to intelligently explain why they missed the major damage to the vehicle on the estimate (which was explained to them in detail, in person, at the time of the estimate). After I met with Elijah G. at the SE Grant St location, I waited 8 days and had to call to request a copy of the estimate. After reviewing the estimate I found that they spelled my name wrong, recorded the incorrect vehicle color, AND did not record the one and only major damage to my vehicle on the estimate.Avoid them at all costs. Consider West Hills Collision in Beaverton instead, or perhaps literally anywhere else. The only positive comment I have about Gerber on SE Grant is that their receptionist, Angela, is patient, kind, and actually helpful. They should give her a raise and replace the rest of their staff.**UPDATE** The GM called to discuss this. It sounds like who I met with at my initial appointment was Jeff, who was perfectly cordial, but dropped the ball on adequate photos and emailing me the estimate, as promised. It was in fact Elijah who I spoke with on the phone who was dismissive and condescending. I still suggest avoiding this establishment.
