Gateway shopping center. Rough area. Fred Meyers is not a nice place to shop. And how they afford all the security people is hard to know. Especially difficult if you're a senior and you need to use the restroom. Was there Sunday at about 8 pm and restrooms were closed.

One of the most dangerous areas in ( outer) Portland. Many options for consumerism.. nail salon, mexican fast food, Gamestop, Jamba juice, michaels, Kohls, and the Mad Max giant Fred Meyers..where you can watch drug addicts eating gallon tubs of ice cream sitting on the floor in the frozen isle. Near by is one of the severly apocalyptic tri met light rail stations..used as a hub for drug dealing..and a hidden open air city run drug use building. Avoid this entire area.

Gateway Fred Meyer used to be the high point of the Gateway area. Due to the City of Portland's lawless culture for the city Gateway is not just another armpit/ghetto area created by TERRIBLE City "Leaders"!! Retailers NEED to push back on the city or exit stage right!
