The only good thing about this pharmacy is that some of the pharmacists are nice. Everything else is a nightmare. They are either very understaffed or totally incompetent.

Very disorganized. Low staffed. Can't get prescriptions correctly filled sometimes. Long waiting lines in store. Have tried to setup mail order. Takes up to 5 days sometimes to get a prescription refilled. Go to another pharmacy that isn't as busy as this location.

I have used 5+ pharmacies in Portland and this is far and away the worst by every measure, except for the nominal convenience of location and groceries available onsite. Autofilled medications lapse for no reason, they can’t hit their own stated timelines, the phone tree is a nightmare, lines are frequently 10-20 minutes long, and standard help requests like dealing with travel for prescriptions become DIY projects for the customer instead. The people who work here seem plenty hardworking and are frequently apologetic about everything going wrong so I can only assume corporate staffing decisions are to blame. I had come to assume all/most pharmacies were terrible but have since found that’s not true (ahem Powell Safeway - a terrible grocery but a fantastic pharmacy), though this one stands out for the dependable consistency of bad experience.

Consistently the slowest pharmacy I've ever been to. I don't know if they are understaffed or what but even with only a few people ahead of you in line it takes forever.
The only reason I come here is because it is close to my house but it is so painful every time.
They also forgot about me when I got my flu shot one time so even though I had an appointment I had to wait almost an hour before I finally asked them what was going on and they forgot to grab me for the shot. Not a big deal but added another bad experience to the mix.

Sometimes when I come here I get my very important medication. Maybe once a month if I'm lucky. The rest of the time it's an unbelievably soul-crushing experience that usually makes me cry. It's unbelievable how incompetent this team is. When one person gives me my medication on time I ride that high for weeks. The rest of the time I'm lucky to only have to go three days without the pills I need to live.
Great job Fred Meyers. You're passable at best and downright cruel a majority of the time.

In store is okay, but they need to work on their customer service while on the phone

The operation for this pharmacy could be improved. Mainly just the amount of staffing. I feel like the lines would move through and process faster if they had at least a minimum of 5 people working; 3 up front and 2 in the back. Otherwise the staff is generally friendly and accommodating

I have been waiting for my prescriptions for a week and when I call to ask about them I hear the phone being picked up but no one ever responds. It’s beyond frustrating and I’d really love to be able to actually get my medication

Always busy, usually a good line. Call and plan ahead for a wait and make sure your prescription is filled before arriving. Convenient for grocery shopping and picking up your Rx

The line is always horrible. Also when I refill my prescription online they don’t order it and I’m never able to get my prescription filled on time. (Even with ample notice)

Disorganized! Inept! Can't find prescriptions in the computer even when the doctor sends it long before and the computer has verified it. Say they will fill things, but later say they don't have it in stock (when they could've said so before when they confirmed they could fill it). Leave on break instead of finishing a job that would take 2 minutes (and after making mistakes that delayed me, but their break is more important to them than fixing their mistakes and not wasting customers' time). They claim they leave messages that are never actually left. Wasted 2 hours of my time. Not to mention their very long lines. I gave up and went to Walgreens. I will never use them for my family again.
