Today (2/27/2024) I had one of the worst experiences in a long time. I was looking to ship a package based on what I had found on the FedEx website. By shipping “FedEx one rate” using their prescribed box, I could send my parcel for approximately $55. It also appeared the box would be free. I went into the FedEx store at 9738 SE Washington Street, Portland, OR looking for said box.The woman I delt with (wish I got her name) said they only sell boxes, and I could use my own box. I replied “I was looking at your website and ....... “ . She replied, "it's not my website, I don’t own or rent it.” I asked why she was being sarcastic, and she said, "I'm just being honest.” I rephrased my explanation with “The Fedex Website gave me the $55 rate using a FedEx box. She claimed it did not matter, so I asked her for a quote based on how I would pack it (smaller box, less weight) and asked for the cheapest rate. She quoted me a rate more than $80. When I question the vast difference, she claimed the rates change all the time. In fact, if I come back the same day with my package, she said the rate may be different than what was quoted earlier that day.I went home and looked up the “FedEx one rate” and still got a $55 quote. The person that helped me was sarcastic, rude and unhelpful. During this whole experience I was polite and calm. I will never go to this store again.

Wow that’s bringing your problems to work with ya. When the customer is told that being the customer mean less than nothing. Security Samantha someone needs to teach you how to talk to customers.

Just spoke on the phone with a guy his name is Ryan or Bryan not sure but he was super rude and not willing to help or answer my simple question.I ended up calling another location and they did answer my question

One star review specifically for Josh the cross eyed dork who likes to instigate issues with customers.Watched him start an argument with another customer while I was in the store being helped by two very friendly staff who assisted me in printing something. When I came to get it laminated I was told the total would be $7 and some change. Josh asked the clerk I was dealing with if the laminator was warmed up. After checking and realizing it wasn't Josh informed me it takes 30 minutes to heat up and to "put a rush order in" it would cost me an additional $17 + the original $7 to laminate it. When I called another FedEx office they said the wouldn't charge me $17 to rush anything even if the laminator wasn't heated up. This guy needs to be fired. Had no business even involving himself in my transaction and was genuinely a rude employee who didn't know how to do his job properly. Everyone else I dealt with was super friendly and easy to work with.

Great customer service. Organized and clean.I had FedEx hold a large package for me at this location to pick up. Antoine was super friendly and helped us measure our car to see if the package fit. He helped us get the heavy package to our car, too. Thank you!

Samantha is an expert at condescending customer service. Be prepared for the entire spectrum of poor customer service. I thought that the post office was the worst at delivering poor customer service, Samantha delivers it in spades.

Poor service from staff. They were dismissive when print and go would not work. No service in store makes it difficult to download documents

I recently picked up an online print order at this location, and the guy working at the print desk (Brian?) was very rude. After waiting about 10 minutes to even be acknowledged, a co-worker of his who was very busy at the shipping counter asked him if he could help me. He scoffed and very visibly rolled his eyes at her before reluctantly coming to give me my order without any sort of "hello" or "goodbye" or "thank you." It's one thing to be rude to customers, but the way he talked condescendingly to his co-worker was even more unacceptable.

I've had many positive experiences scanning documents to my thumb drive at the Mall 205 FedEx location. Last week after a nearby medical appointment, I had a 27 page document to scan there. I had forgotten my thumb drive, but a worker at the desk explained that I could have the document scanned and sent to my email address. I paid $14.85 for the scan job but the document never arrived in my email. I returned today and was told I could wait in line to redo the scan job, but could not be refunded for the one that never showed up. Be careful when doing business here as it can be a waste of time and money!
