If there was an alternative store for flags and such I would not shop here. There is a man behind the counter who is as sour as a lemon. Not fun. They do, however, have everything you could ever want for flags, kites, and banners. They also repair any flag purchased from them for free. A nice touch.

Nice knowledgeable employee suggested a budget option. Bought $16.00 kite. Easy to put together. Great service.Happy with our purchase. Later, figured out that early evening was best time to fly it as coastal breeze was strongest. Flew kite for first time since childhood on Labor Day, 2022 at Cape Lookout State Park.

Wide variety of flags, regular house flags, little garden flags, boat flags, and lots of kites too! If they don’t have the flag you’re looking for, they also do custom flags.Was really pleased with the heavy duty quality of the flag I bought.They also had things like yard signs and regional mugs and bumper stickers and stuff. Very nice and friendly store, and a great local business.

I have come to them for 2 decades for flags... But I will no longer support a business that supports communism and fear mongering tyrants. I will find my flags elsewhere and make sure ALL real Americans never support this local business ever again.

I first picked up a kite here for an anniversary gift in 2019 (way more fun than the "cotton" theme if you want my opinion). We've enjoyed it a bunch and this year we finally got our house ready to fly a Pride flag so we knew just where to go. Elmer's had a variety of options in stock as well as a menu of various customizable pride flags they make in house. We opted for their available made-in-house Philly Pride flag but thought it was so cool that they'll make a flag with any colors/design you like or identify with. Pricing was VERY reasonable considering the product is made in the USA - right here in Portland, so we were very happy to pay for that quality. We're so lucky to have this unique and high quality shop in Portland!

Very pleased with my custom flag order form Elmer's. It was a bit pricey and took some time to create the design/ship but 100% worth it to receive a high-quality product from a small business. The employee I worked with was very kind and excited to help create my flag.

Staff is extremely helpful. Last year my family bought a case to house my brother's flag from his funeral. This year I bought 8 kites for our family reunion.

You need any kind of flag/banner/kite this is your place. If you need a beautiful new flag pole installed at your business or residence this is the place to go. Friendly staff, beautiful work and great prices!

Awesome selection of flags and banners. On my last visit discovered they are selling 100% cotton face mask. It's been my favorite out of the six other masks I have tried. GREAT FIND! Went in to replace flag pole anchor, which they carry. Excellent customer service for the 30 years I have been buying from them. Highly recommend!
