I arrived at the location at 9:30 am for a possible toxin ingestion following the suggestion of the front desk. I was not contacted outside of one time an hour after taking our cat to let me know we were waiting for a doctor. After 5 hours I was still not given any context as to how or when I would be seen and was only given information upon request. No professionals saw my animal in 5 hours following potential toxin ingestion and I had to contact poison control myself as no one would evaluate my animal. We left to seek alternative service as Dove Lewis was unable to care for our animal.
I gave this two stars as the reception and front desk were nice when I requested information.

I love this place people are so nice and they are considerate and so compassionate with whatever needs to be done they take their time and are one in a million I wouldn't go anywhere else in case of an emergency or urgent case they took care of my kitties very well and I thank them for all their hard work and love they give all the animals they work with thank you and I would highly recommend them highly

I had to end the life of my beloved companion Puff and every single person here treated us with such compassion, love, care and gave us the sacred time we needed to say goodbye. I could not have asked for more. Thank you from the bottom of my heart and I'm so glad this place exists. ❤️

My dog was bitten by another dog. The vets and staff at Dove Lewis explained what had to be done (stitches and a drain). They explained all of the meds my dog needed and what kind of care he needed at home. They were friendly and kind. Would definitely recommend this place to other pet owners. My dog is doing well and his stitches come out next week.

Thank you for your help & service with a chalenging surgical emergency. The level of communication & frequency of updates kept us secure and in the know until we could make it back from a vacation and local to the area.

Don’t take exotics here, the stress from waiting several hours JUST to be triaged and then told the exotics vet isn’t even taking any more patients will make their condition worse.

I had no problems when taking my cat here. They were kind, prompt, and were happy to answer my questions. I didn’t wait a huge amount of time, and the vet was knowledgeable. They easily sent my cats record to our primary vet and were transparent through the whole process. Yes their phone times are long but they are clearly understaffed which is of no fault to those already working there. If I have the misfortune of needing emergency pet care again I will be happy to bring them back here.

We are lucky to live somewhere with such advanced vet care. They’ve been great with follow-ups too. Grateful for the team taking good care of our pup, even though he’s very very sick.

We took our dog there because she was having issues with what we now know was syncope. They dx her with seizures and sent us on our way. It was over $600 for us to take her and they didn't even try to properly dx her. I took her to another vet and they dx her with severe anemia that resulted in syncope. If they had properly dx her when we brought her in, she would not have suffered for so long and she would still be with us. She could have had a blood transfusion if they had properly dx her. She was my support dog and now I'm so angry and depressed I've developed an ulcer because my poor girl suffered with bells around her neck for absolutely no reason!! The vet kept bringing up Jeff Bezos and how he probably couldn't afford to help his pet because there was no helping her? I still don't understand why this happened the way it did or why jeff bezos was brought up so much. The financial help they tell you to apply for also has never had any funding any of the times I've applied, and they are wayyy more expensive than my regular vet with wayyyyy worse care. I had to borrow money to take her here and then still take her elsewhere!! Iam in total disbelief and shock. They don't care about your pet, they care about your pocket book and that's it!! Please, reconsider taking your fur baby here. Incomprehensible and incompetent at best.

We took her dog nova here. The staff here were absolutely amazing. They were caring and thoughtful and walked us through everything. They were going to do. Kudos to the staff here for being amazing at this very rough time of saying Goodbye to nova

We love and appreciate DoveLewis they saved my cat when I was unable to afford the procedures he needed. Two years ago he arrived there dying and today he is now healthy and thriving ! Thank you all so much!

We were extremely happy with the patience and care provided to our temperamental Pyrenees. We felt heard and our dog was taken care of with nothing but great care and expertise. Loved Jed and Hailey at the front desk and the amazing Dr. Durfey. Thank you

I can't believe how amazing this place is. From the ladies at the front desk of internal medicine, techs, and doctors. Bringing your fur baby in is never a comforting time, and each time I've been in, I was treated with so much genuine care and empathy. I walked in nervous for what I was about to find out, and was immediately comforted by every single person I encountered. My cat has struggled with bouts of pancreatitis for 4 years, and in 1 visit they were able to figure out what was going on, and my baby is happier and healthier than ever. If I could give them 100 stars, I would. I happily drive all the way from Salem to bring my baby to them. They are the best!
