Excellent experience with Don and Ole at DLR Nordic. The purchase of my 2023 Volvo C40 Recharge could not have been easier. Don offered to help with the license plate attachment and Ole offered some post-sale attention to the car. I highly recommend DLR Nordic.

I found these guys a refreshing change from the shady high pressure sales
Tactics at other dealers. They were willing to answer any questions and address any pre-purchase and some post-purchase concerns with integrity and authenticity. I would shop her again and just may when it comes time for my daughters cars.

We bought a used Volvo XC90 from Ole and Ron at Nordic. The whole experience was comfortable and pressureless. The showroom is pleasant, clean, and makes for a very easy time checking out cars thoroughly. They have expert technical knowledge of their vehicles and only stock cars that meet high criteria. So far, we love our new to us XC90. When I am in the market for a new Volvo, DLR Nordic will be my first and probably only stop. Highly Recommended.

I bought a 2022 Polestar 2 from DLR Nordic--it is my favorite car ever owned. And working with DLR Nordic was the smoothest, easiest car purchase I’ve ever made. Many thanks, and I’ll certainly refer anyone looking for vehicles!

First off, let me begin by stating that I rarely leave negative reviews. I understand the implications it has on a business. Nevertheless, I’m writing this review after giving DLR Nordic many opportunities to ensure I was completely satisfied post-purchase; they failed to do so. I purchased a beautiful 2019 XC60 from Don. The overall sales experience was good; unfortunately, the next day I noticed that the front grille was cracked and missing the iconic diagonal chrome trim piece to the emblem. One would expect when buying an expensive car from a reputable dealer that they would either fix this aesthetic issue (before the sale) or at the very least, be transparent and point out such a defect at the time of the sale. The trim piece is part of the grille, so to repair such an eyesore, the entire grill needs to be replaced. I sent photos documenting my findings and sent many emails to the salesperson, all of which went unanswered, which is unacceptable. I stopped by the dealership and spoke with Ole, who offered to look for a trim piece and glue it on. After leaving, I sent them another email stating I wasn't satisfied with that solution and expect them to replace the grille, and I even offered to pay for part of it. Still… no response. Eventually, after I responded to the automated and ironic “thank you; we care about your satisfaction” email, I finally received a response stating that “the cars are used and have imperfections”. Note that this repair would cost the dealer no more than $300 (wholesale price of a new grille). This is small price to pay to ensure customer satisfaction, especially on such a large purchase. Unfortunately, DLR Nordic clearly has a different philosophy; they didn't want to put any time, effort, or cost (no matter how small) into fixing this for me. To sum it up, DLR Nordic has a nice used Volvo inventory that clearly hasn’t been thoroughly inspected. The guys are nice and enjoyable to work with before and up to the time of sale; however, the post-sale customer service, especially the communication, is very poor. I suggest that, if you they have the car you want, approach purchasing the vehicle with caution and a high attention to detail. I wish I had caught the aforementioned flaw on the sales floor, as I would have made fixing it a prerequisite to making the purchase. To be clear, I gave the gentlemen at DLR Nordic ample opportunity to fix the issue. This review is a direct result of their choosing not to. Had they resolved this issue, they would have earned a five-star review. After more unanswered communication attempts, and to avoid additional frustration in trying to work with them, I replaced the grille at my expense for much more than it would have cost them.

Didn’t end up getting the car I wanted from this fantastic group but I still thought they had 5 star service and professionalism. I had the pleasure of working Ole.

Such an amazing experience! Don made the process easy, was not pushy at all, laid out all our options and explained everything every step of the way. The car is beautiful and I cannot recommend DLR Nordic enough!

Buyer Beware - We purchased a 2018 Volvo XC90 in October of 2021 from this dealership. It looked great on the surface and we trusted that the inner workings were also in order since this is a reputable dealership and they said they do an extremely thorough inspection of the vehicle before selling.Cut to May 2022 - It's starting to get warm outside so we try and turn on the AC. It's not working. Maybe it needs AC fluid we thought, so we took it to a mechanic to fill the fluid. The AC worked great for about a week or so and then it stopped working again. After a couple more visits to the mechanic (TVG), we replaced the compressor and filled the Freon twice, to the tune of about $2,000.At that point, my husband reached out to the person who sold us the car at DLR Nordic to make them aware of the situation. They said that our Volvo warranty had just expired and refused to acknowledge that they sold us a car with a faulty AC issue. If there would have been a full inspection, this couldn't have been overlooked. And we never used the AC system until May of 2022 when it was immediately faulty! After the compressor was replaced and the Freon was filled, again 1-2 weeks later the AC stopped blowing cold again. We took it back to TVG who told us that the only other possible issue could be a faulty evaporator (which apparently is a known issue with this model + year). The problem is that they will have to take off the entire dash of the car even to diagnose this issue. If it is the evaporator, we were quoted anywhere from $5,000-$7,000 (YIKES) to repair. After the $2,000 we've already sunk into the problem, we simply did not have the money to do this diagnosis/fix. So we spent the whole of Summer 2022 in a very hot car with the windows rolled down (which isn't what I envisioned when buying a luxury vehicle, albeit a pre-owned one). We are coming up on another Summer with no AC, and now we have to decide whether to go forward with a 5-7K repair (with no guarantee that it will be fixed) or to trade-in or sell this vehicle (which will be close to impossible considering the AC issue).Overall this has been a pretty terrible experience and we are not planning on purchasing again from DLR Nordic or recommending it to anyone we know.(left this exact review on Google as well).

I started emailing with Ole starting Jan 21st when I started my search for a used Volvo. We exchanged several emails and I asked a few questions about a 2020 V60. The emailed that I wanted to come do a test drive. No response. Ok. there are other dealers, I will look elsewhere. Not finding what I was looking for locally I tried again. I found another car and emailed this time with Don starting Feb 24th. Exchanged emails, asked questions, Set up time for a test drive. I had to cancel because we had a crazy snow storm. Never heard from them again. I was working hard to find a car with a few dealers, even tried out of state. Every single one was responsive, except these guys. Must be nice to have so much business you can blow off customers like that. not once but twice?! it took some time but Herzog-Meier thanks you! I bought my V90 there instead.

This place is great! There's always an interesting selection of cars, and Ole is incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. He even had a Volvo Moose stuffed animal for our 1-year-old who came along. We're soon to purchase our second vehicle here (after an XC90 a few years ago) and would highly recommend them to anyone.
