Purchased stain and equipment for my deck. Sergio was super helpful and I was on my way to get started on the work. Not having to guess gave me the confidence to concentrate on the work and not the supplies and tools.

First, let me say I’ve patronized this store for years for multiple projects and have found their customer service to be very good until now. I went in to get a paint swatch matched for a gallon of paint. The person I spoke with about my need couldn’t have possibly been less appreciative of my business. They met my request with what can only be described as indifference. When asked if the paint could be mixed while I wait I was told no. When asked when they would be able to mix it I was told, “When we get to it.”I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.

Super helpful staff. I got my colors wrong. one of the consultants worked for over an hour to recover the paint I had purchased to match an alternate color/shade. I’ll be back.

I don't know what I'm doing when it comes to house maintenance. We had to repaint a bedroom wall and so I came here since they sell the paint I needed and the old paint can listed their SE location. First visit, I ordered online, the cashier told me to just call them next time since purchasing online cost more (not exactly sure about that, haven't compared prices). Then I went back for more paint because... I don't know what I'm doing and wasted a lot of paint. The 2nd time around, I asked many more questions and asked for tips. I was also trying to coordinate with my partner over the phone while in store with an employee helping me. - The employee so patient and understanding with me being on the phone. They then proved their patience with me going to my car and coming back inside THREE TIMES with more questions. Prices are reasonable, the tools sold there are about the same price as Ace Hardware. The employees are super nice and so very helpful. They had recommendations and answers for everything. There was no pressure to buy more or go for the more expensive option. They had tools that were on the price spectrum, there were cheaper options, midgrade and more expensive. They pointed out each tool, gave their rec and left it up to me to decide. I love that I can buy paint AND materials without feeling like I paid extra for materials because of the convenience. They get busy but they are also well staffed and take their time with customers. I never had to wait more than a few minutes. They also have some Spanish speaking staff and it sounded like they have good relationships with their Spanish speaking customers. Here's what I learned: -One quart of paint technically covers about 100 ft², but in reality, probably more like 60 to 80 ft², especially considering if you don't know what you're doing. My first mistake - getting one quart, 2nd visit, I definitely got the full size can. -After you're done painting use the rollers to go all in one direction one last time to avoid seeing any strokes. Stick with a matte color to especially avoid seeing any strokes. -If you're repainting a wall, it's best to paint the entire wall otherwise you might see the old paint versus the new.

This is my go to store for paint. The shop is relatively small but has excellent products and good prices. The best part is the staff - they are friendly, helpful and really knowledgeable about the products and best practices for great results.

Someone who looks like the boss refuses to wear a mask and spent a lot of time bragging about it.
