Ana is friendly, talented and easy to work with! The salon is comfortable, and her talents are worth getting an appointment for! I have had hair color, cuts, nails done, facials, waxing. Never a complaint!

I was looking for a barbershop where I could get a traditional hot lather and straight razor shave. I walked by Ana's for 18 months whilst Portlandia's plethora of "hip" barbershops disappointed me at great cost. Never again! Been going only here for a few years since, and regret none of it. She makes her own aloe aftershave from homegrown aloe, and her razor skills are so smooth I could fall asleep under her confident ministrations. It's comforting to know she can handle whatever future beauty needs I may have, but in the meantime she does a mean man's shave that more than satisfies. Three thumbs up ???

This is why I Yelp and write reviews. After trying (unsuccessfully) to find someone who would do a simple trim on my straight Asian hair, and not charge me a mortgage payment, I combed through the Yelp reviews and found Detangles and Ana. She is as sweet and thorough as can be, and her prices are totally reasonable. I can finally resume getting a trim every 3-4 months, instead of trying to get a cut to stretch out for 6 months and having a ton of split ends. I am definitely coming back here.

Oh my gosh Ana is amazing! I’m going to go to her for everything! I’ll update a picture soon but she did my eyelashes today for an amazing price and they look gorgeous! She’s such a sweetheart and punctual. She was very gentle and I felt so relaxed for our appointment that I slept. Love this place.

Ana was an amazing hair stylist and I'm so happy that I had the pleasure of having her do my hair. This was my first visit at the Detangles Hair Salon and I had decided to get bangs for the first time since my childhood. She was very quick to get to work and knew exactly what she was doing. We even chatted about how she has been doing hair for over 25 years! That gave me so much confidence in what she was doing. At the end of our visit I absolutely LOVED my hair. I don't think I can explain how much I love it. I was nervous to get bangs, but she made them look excellent! I keep getting compliments! I will definitely be returning and I'm so happy to have found this neighborhood gem. Thank you Ana!

Can't say enough great things about this salon. Anna was super responsive , friendly and easy to talk to. It was easy to get a fast appointment. She took her time with my haircut and it turned out wonderfully! And at a great price, too. I will be back! FYI - dry cut and shampoo costs extra. I was fine without it, as I don't care about the frills of an expensive salon.
