Wonderful place great prices they know their stuff my tank had red slime diatoms 2 other stores had ideas but didn't work cuttlefish recommended purple non sulfur bacteria I was at the point I would try anything in about a week started seeing less slime and as the weeks went on my tank looked like nothing happened all my corals sps and lps have never looked so healthy the colors pop I call this stuff miracle grow for reeftank so if any one has problems with color or algae you have to get some couldn't believe my eyes

Great place, friendly service. They have a lot of saltwater fish and a wide range of coral. Will definitely be buying my saltwater needs here.

This is the ultimate saltwater store! Everyone is very friendly, SUPER knowledgeable and always there to help with anything about your saltwater aquarium.They are not there just to sell fish and corals. They are there to educate you about what goes well together, what doesn’t and so much more!Thank you Jeff for having such a wonderful business!

The absolutely best reef shop in the PNW. Their selection and pricing for coral and fish cannot be beat. I've been coming here for over 12 years and have never been disappointed. Thanks for all the years of great coral and fish!

Getting back into the hobby after a 15 year hiatus. What a great store to have close by to help. Great prices and selection and the staff was so damn friendly and helpful.

Such a great place for fish and corals. Jeff is a great guy who genuinely cares about the hobby and his customers. Him and his staff are very knowledgeable, patient, and kind. They don’t try to sell you the most expensive thing, but they listen carefully and suggests the best thing for your system. I highly recommend this place. Great fish/equipment / coral selection and amazing customer service.

I've been to a number of other salt water coral and fish stores in Oregon, and this one EASILY is my favorite. Such a beautiful stock every time I come in, and the store is very clean. I think the staff pride themselves on being very friendly and knowledgeable and it really shows. They don't hesitate when it comes to answering all my questions, and even a second time if I don't fully understand the first time haha! I would highly recommend coming here if you are looking for a beautiful salt water coral and fish store, whether you are in the hobby or just as a fun date to see something new.

BEWARE, LYMPHOCYSTIS DISEASE INFECTION! didn't used this store for more then a few years due to issue with corrals that I bought from them in a past. In the September 15th I was near by and came to buy a bottle of CoPods, I also bought blue dot puffer, soonest I bring it to home after adaptation I released it in my aquarium with small blue light only. On the next morning I found that both sides of fish have a bad skin damages/disease. Unfortunately I can't come back to stor until Tuesdayand and explain the owner that fish that I bought have a sign of disease and asked him for assistance however the owner said that I have a bad water in aquarium and it's my problem and they sold me healthy fish. I'm attaching photo of this sick fish for the your judgment.P.S. just talk with the owner today with a hope for solution, but I noticed that they emergency changing water in all store. Coincident? Could be, but... On a forum, people help me indicate this disease as LymphocystisBEWARE!0

This is the best local fish store in the Portland area. Not only do the have an amazing selection of fish and corals, but they really care about building community by promoting the hobby. Many stores have fish and coral for sale, but Cuttlefish and Corals will help you with the reefing hobby every step of the way. Highly recommend!

Jeff and the CuttleFish fam are amazing (he refers to all his employees as family). They try to get to know you, talk to you... you are referred to as friends, not customers. Always going out of their way to help anyway they can if you have questions, or in need of anything. During storms when everyone lost power Jeff told everyone to bring down the corals and fish to see if he can help. He takes calls on vacation to help where he can... tank blow out in the middle of the night Jeff is driving to see if he can help save anything. When it comes to fish and corals, CuttleFish has the best selection anywhere with the best prices (no gimmicks with sales). If I lived closer I'd prob be broke =) no joke. Highly recommend Cuttlefish and Corals to anyone and everyone!

The only place we will go for all of our salt water tank/fishy needs!! The owner and entire staff are extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They all genuinely want you to learn, have fun and have a successful tank at home. Highly recommend!

I cannot say enough good things about this place but let me try lol. The employees all go out of their way to help with whatever you need, from tips and tricks, recommendations, help with issues and amazing advice when you’re on the verge of a nervous breakdown. (Looking at you Pete!) The owner Jeff is generous and lovely and this has quickly become my home away from home and favorite place. I honestly won’t go anywhere else to buy fish because I know they will be healthy every time. Thank you Cuttle Crew and thank you Pete for helping me craft my dream tank!
