We just purchased one pound of chocolates here. The experience was fantastic, from tasting the most heavenly chocolate to choosing the ones to take home. The woman who assisted us was amazing. She was elegant, attentive, and funny! What a fun treat to take home, after a lovely day if shopping. Thank you! We'll be back at Thanksgiving, Christmas, and certainly at Easter!

See's Candies was a great shopping experience. The moment you walk into this shop, they welcome you with a tray of chocolates from which you can choose any flavor you desire. Customer service was fantastic there. I wasn't sure how the chocolates were priced, but once they explained that they were priced by weight, everything changed because you choose whatever you want, then weigh it, and they add it up from there. The only difficult thing was that I didn't know which ones to choose from among so many varieties. I would definitely recommend this place.
Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options
Parking: Difficult to find parking
Kid-friendliness: Super kid-friendly, kids love chocolate.
Wheelchair accessibility: Not really that much is accessibility

Creo could mean something totally different to these folks- but the word really means Believe in Spanish. If I'm talking about the coating only, our bite-size selections at this Lloyd District chocolatier in Portland, had a pleasant cocoa taste and fillings in each, had a subtle hint of flavor. This space houses their factory where they're whipping up their specialty cocoa powders, bagged items and other goodies. The shelving consists of goodies made with Ecuadorian chocolate for their darks- not sure about their milk chocolate and white origins. This Creo location has a dramatic inside with high ceilings and these impressive, almost apothecary cabinets on either side of the shop. I wanted to hang with my daughter over a cuppa hot chocolate or h. cocoa- but, these folks don't make neither. So, we settled on a box of 12- which was steep at $42- but it was nice they honor the 10% Yelp Check-In offer. The real highlight about our visit was Alix's extremely down to earth energy and generous with her samples and smiles. Thank you!

Listen, I know the prices seem steep but the quality and craftsmanship are literally unparalleled so you should absolutely pop in and get some goods. I happened upon this spot while literally servicing my car and realized what a gold mine it was. They had some delicious samples when I popped in and I was definitely hooked from the start. My family has splurged on the giant box of chocolates but I have also gone in and gotten smaller treats in the smaller boxes. Honestly, all of the flavors are good and I say this even after trying chocolates with ingredients I'm usually not a big fan of. Service is so darn helpful and friendly and they make sure to pack your box with the best little treats -- i.e. one of the chocolates didn't seem perfect so they just gave it to me as a free sample and made sure to pick a better one for my box. The interior looks small from the outside but has a good amount of space -- also have shelves on goods to look at other than just the truffles/chocolates being sold as well. All in all, this is a stellar spot to grab chocolate and you should check it out if you're in the area!

Spent $120 for a “build a bar tour” for my kids and husband. This was a reward for my son who loves the Wonka book and movie. Walked in and the staff didn’t even look up, much less greet us. The two older staff members seemed annoyed that we had children signed up. We had two nine year-old boys and a four-year-old girl plus one parent. The lady was not happy that we had a four-year-old with us and made that very clear. All around unwelcoming atmosphere and staff and just a terrible experience. Definitely do not recommend for children.

Highly recommend the Make-A-Bar Tour! They give out so many samples and it was pretty cool to be able to make your own chocolate and wrap it.While purchasing some of their chocolates after the tour, they provided us so many additional samples. While they have so many amazing flavors, I especially enjoyed the Spicy Mango bar, Black Lava Salted Caramels, and many of the other small truffles.Extremely friendly staff and I'd love to go back while in Portland!

We did a company event to build your own bar and the staff was fantastic and the chocolate tasting and resulting bar was even better! They clearly have a passion for their work and it shows (and tastes!) in the results. Excellent chocolate and a wonderful experience.

The mint chocolate cookies, dark chocolate pretzels, lava salt chocolate, and the earl grey chocolate were delicious. Surprisely I enjoyed the mint chocolate cookies. I can't wait to try other chocolate. As for the dark chocolate pretzels, it will be nice if they added the black lava salt so it can have the sweet and salty taste.
