The hotel was well kept. Room was modern and clean. The staff were courteous and helpful. The location is central and is close to shops downtown and the metro. It's a block from the food trucks, which was nice. The area is not the safest with all the homeless, but at least it was on a quieter street of downtown. I liked that they put me on the top floor. It was a quiet and comfortable room. The only issue I had was with dust and stains on the sheets. The duvet looked like it was chewed up by someone's pet. I asked them to change the sheets after check in, but they only remade the bed instead of changing them.Walkability: Walking distance to transit, shops, and food trucks.

Great location and I like that they do not seem to encourage driving but I noticed a lot of dust behind the sofa in the room which seems pretty bad.

Excellent value for money accommodation in the centre of Portland with easy walking access to many attractions and close to a range of public transport options and the railway station is a short flat walk. There is a very reasonably priced guest laundry here which is particularly useful if you are on an extended holiday/vacation. Rooms are very spacious and spotlessly clean.

Great place! We were able to do a late check-out, which helped us a lot. The room was clean, and the location was great

Valet system didn’t work - we texted, called, and gave it a solid 25 minutes and still needed to wait for our car. We got takeouts and had to go downstairs ourselves to the restaurant to get silverware because “they couldn’t send them up”. Also missing a hairdryer in the room and took them forever to send it. I checked in on my mobile and requested some room amenities ahead of time but of course they were there when we arrived. I’ve been a Marriott member for many years and am very disappointed with the services in this location.Safety: The location isn’t safe to park private cars overnight according to the staff. One of the customers got their cars broken into and the front desk would “highly recommend to use their valet service”.

DAN at the front desk and security was the HIGHLIGHT. Someone give this man a raise, as helpful as one can get, polite, cared about each guest, helped me a bit on my first time to city, working extra hard and double shifts. Highlight of the stay indeed.I stayed here overnight with my elderly folks, and they felt comfortable, we arrived late at 11p but lobby was staffed, secure doors, safety was not a concern. The area was well lit and no vagabonds were nearby or outside that’s great, it was expected being a city center and I get defensive with family trips, but no issue.Toughest part was the parking costs, was a bit misguided and wasn’t notified on the situation / cost until after reservation, email note was received. No complaint here, just a note for those trying to save $48 -50ish bucks. (Depending on vehicle size)Rooms: Clean and secure. Family-friendly.Was on second floor and barely heard anything - way quiet for being near ground floor in a city center.Strong and quality window sound suppression, good stuff.Walkability: Close to stuff, I mean, city center indeed.Noteworthy details: DAN the front desk man was working hard and deserves my sincere respect and positive review for service and efforts.I’m here reviewing because of him.

The location is perfect. Lots of restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Powell's City of Books is only 12mins away by walking.

Even though I was on the 14th floor, I could hear car alarms all night.

There is NO HOTEL PARKING LOT- ONLY parking offered is $$48 PER DAY VALET PARKING. When I was told it wasn’t safe to park my car on the street… I immediately felt unsafe. Turns out that just seems to be a Portland thing. Hotel and my room was clean. Staff that I met were all friendly and helpful. A great good truck venue is a block away. The metro station is easy access, across the street if you need it.

The rooms are lovely but very small and unfortunately ours was still dirty from the previous occupant. However the team were forthcoming in remedying that. Great location, lots of cafes and eateries around and only a short drive to the zoo, gardens etc.
