I've been banking with CCCU for over a decade, and they've always been trustworthy and helpful. Brad Bacon recently assisted me with a home loan and walked me through every step, always replying promptly to my many questions and wrangling all the paperwork we had to keep track of. Everything went through without a hitch, and he even sent a welcome gift when we moved in.

horrible service, extremely rude customer service. they lose your vehicle title after you pay off your loan and will do nothing to help you and also be rude about it.

The quality and dedication to the service at this branch is just excellent.All of the staff will always meet you as kind as welcoming as possible.Always willing to get you what you need or to do what is right. They know their business.I recommend the bank but what’s more, this branch is the one to go. Not to discredit the others where ones where they are also great!

I’m so glad this location exists! I hate that I have to come to Portland to do any banking, but when I do it’s nice that they have a parking lot and a clean building. I won’t bother with the NW location, and will only be coming here from now on!

Came with my partner to deposit his tips from work, the obnoxious girl in the lobby would be better suited for Dutch brothers than a financial institution. Super long wait for a teller, a ton of annoying banter from the cheerleader in the lobby, and overall bad vibes. Nobody looked happy to be working there when we came in. Maybe it was a just bad day? Maybe everyone finds the lobby girl annoying? I personally wouldn’t be able to work with that. Glad I bank with Oregonians, my partner is considering switching after the last few times we’ve been in and had the same bad experience.

Brad Bacon at Consolidated was amazing, knowledgeable, and very responsive! He did a great job with my home mortgage loan and explained everything to me before I could even ask. He notified me if he was going to be out of the office for even a couple of hours, and was very transparent about the process and the documentation. My house closed very quickly as a result of his hard work, which I really appreciated. My dad was in real estate (in a different state) for decades and looked over everything Brad sent, and confirmed that everything was done fairly and above board. Highly recommend both Brad Bacon and Consolidated!

I applied for a HELOC at Consolidated in December 2022. When we went to sign the papers, we were handed a report from Freddie Mac Home Value Explorer. Freddie Mac gave our home an assessment that was $39,000 less than we paid for it a year ago. The report listed 8 comparable homes. One home sold at the same price we paid for our home, but the 7 other homes listed sold for $55,000 to $119,000 more than their "assessment" of our home. When asked why our home was so far below the comps, Heidi Gallacher had no answer. As I began to review their Freddie Mac assessment, I found the report riddled with errors. The report had our home listed at 1,672 sf. In reality, our home has 2,537 sf. Six of the 8 comps had the wrong square footage listed. Two of the comps had the wrong number of bathrooms. One comp had the wrong sale price. Another comp had not even been sold in 2022. When I pointed out the many errors to Heidi, she had no response.Digging into the report further, 5 of the 8 comps were sold in 2021. Since we were applying for a loan in 2023, I asked Heidi why they had made no comparison to current market values. No response. Heidi explained away the pathetic assessment of our home by saying that prices "have gone down lately." In fact, home prices in Portland had gone up 8.5% in 2022. Surely their evaluation of our home should reflect this increase? No response. Heidi's only response - "We do not control what Freddie Mac does and does not use. We are not Freddie Mac. You can contact them if you would like, as well as the county to get your tax details updated." Apparently, Consolidated takes no responsibility for the "desktop assessment" they are using to evaluate their HELOCs, they don't care that their documents are riddled with errors and they feel no need to correct the record. So buyer beware.

After a lifetime of being with Chase since the late 90s, i closed my account and went with this bank 3 years ago. I never knew that the banking experience, services, and even higher yields were possible!!! These people are wonderful!

Discriminatory lending practices. After working with the team here for several months to secure a HELOC they changed the terms of the loan and wanted to remove my income from the loan evaluation when they discovered I was pregnant. They claimed that they couldn't be sure I would return to work, which is not only sexist but also beside the point when a HELOC is secured by the equity value of my house. They also admitted that they had arbitrarily added a $1000 fee to the closing of the loan because they thought my purpose for the loan was 'risky'. My uses for a HELOC are none of their business - I could use it to vacation in Tahiti if I felt like it. Thank goodness OnPoint stepped in and closed on a matching loan for me in half the time, no fees, and most importantly, no illegal hassling!

We have banked here for at least 10 years and Consolidated has been consistently friendly, helpful, responsive and efficient in dealing with our banking needs. Originally their online banking option was pretty subpar, but it has improved tremendously in the last 3 years and kudos to them for taking the complaints of their customers and adopting a better platform. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for an alternative to the mega-banks, like Chase or B of A.
