Terrible experience!Intended to open a savings account for a considerable amount.From the moment I walked in I was treated with suspicion and felt unwelcome. Terse service, screening forms to fill out manually, questioned on every detail, copies of multiple forms of 'acceptable' ID, onerous requirements for property/ residence statements , credit reports (which I keep locked). After 20+ minutes of grilling, I left and ask them to delete my data.I encourage anyone to give some other institution your business and resources.

Stopped in a couple of weeks ago to set up a joint account and the process went smoothly and we were treated with the professionalism one would expect. A minor glitch with having to unlock a specific Credit Reporting Agency, but once we got that resolved we got approved. Checks came about 10 days later as did our debit cards. So far, so good!

Suggestions: better communication through starting accounts. 4 day turnaround for emails and over 24 hours for phone calls isn't up to par for me personally.

I have been banking with Wellsfargo since 2012. I have many accounts, personal, business acount, line of credit, debit and credit cards... And then I moved to Portland. Recently I gave this bank a shot, out of curiosity after someone handed me a business car about car refinancing. The "good deal" I got when buying my car was 4.5 apr. It took 2 days to refinance my car with CCU and get 2.2% apr. Right away.... No need to open accounts, set up direct deposits, find an unicorn and on. TWO DAYS and I saved half the apr. So, as sceptic as I was, looks like banks like this exist. Give them a try, might be worth it.

Terrible for the average customer. Website needs updating, and maybe friendlier service would be a nice touch.
