“Exactly what I was expecting! So many options! Very sweet attendant! Handled my overenthusiastic family very gracefully. Found my rehearsal dinner dress for only $50!? Crazy awesome and for a really great cause.”

4949 SW 76th Ave, Portland“Found my dress here! The experience was amazing and more than I imagined and thought! The volunteers here were friendly and understanding.
I can't express how happy I am that once I got there I was not nervous or scared to try on dresses. They made it easy for me and my bridal party to pick and try on as many dresses as I could!
Thank you Adorned in Grace!!”

1736 SW Alder St, Portland“Staff were very friendly and it had a welcoming atmosphere! It is nice to have a place to look for random singular items instead of buying a larger amount when I only need one thing. Also their craft kits are really fun!”
“I am so thankful for this place. Has helped us in so many ways. One amazing thing that has happened since being part of this is we only have two more payments on our car until it's paid off. Then we will be paying that car payment to our other car to pay it off soon. Couldn't have done it without the help of Birch.”
“It’s a great coffee shop. Meeting with Spanish is lots of fun. It gets a little crowded sometimes but it’s to be expected. Lovely people mostly. Service with a smile.”
“Other than the pick up/drop off traps and your fur friend(s) times leaving you in the middle of rush hour traffic I don't have much to complain about. The people here are providing a great service. They care about the animals safety & health not to mention the communities they live in. I totally recommend the Feral Cat Coalition of Oregon in SW Portland”
“when this place is open to the public... what a great place to make memories... absolute gem of a place great people... It's definitely a place that makes Portland, Portland...”
“Just a good place helping us who are down and out. I've been very sick and lost way too much weight (about 100 lbs). All my clothes were falling off of me. SnowCap hooked me up 3 times now and I've gotten some new and close to new clothes that fit me perfectly. So I am one Super Skinny Grateful Woman now and owe it to these wonderful people. They are also going to hook me up with good food which you can choose from what they have available. I'm Disabled with a very Low Income (only $32 in SNAP Benefits) and with the prices these days I struggle to buy enough food so part of my weight loss is due to this. I really appreciate the help from this Organization and I Support their Cause. We all have to help one another to get by in this over priced world these days. THANK YOU SNOWCAP!! YOU ALL ARE AWESOME PEOPLE DOING AWESOME WORK FOR US WHO ARE STRUGGLING IN THIS CITY♥”

3410 S Bond Ave, Portland“We have stayed here multiple times with our daughter. She loves going there and we love it because it is one less thing we need to worry about when she needs to be at the hospital. We live almost 2 hours away so it's great for those early morning appointments.”
“Great job curating and displaying a really important part of Portland history. There is a great exhibit by the artist Bong Wai Chen. The staff are great and welcoming to the public, letting people know the important forgotten history”
“I love going to this store. I got an awesome tool box and tool caddy. Last time I got original art. I always get good stuff at prices that are unheard of. Original art for $7. Incredible.”

“This will always be my first stop for home renovation. Good materials, amazing staff, and great deals. So glad I found this place. Also, pay it forward with a donation, if you can.”
“I love this place. Libraries are great places in general. What I appreciate about this particular branch is the small town feel you get from interacting with the staff. Yes, I can self checkout but sometimes I want to say, “Hello,” to a familiar face. Some of the staff have known my adult kids since they were little (coming in for story time) and they still inquire about them. The quality of being known and treated like a neighbor and friend is a gift and much appreciated.”

310 NW Glisan St, Portland“Behold, one of the great places responsible for my healthy weight, something I've gotten to enjoy for the first time in my life. All my life, I have struggled with being underweight, to varying degrees, and after a while, began to think that was simply how I was. After arriving in Portland, in just a month, I gained 7 pounds, and that's something I've struggled with even while trying weight training, protein drinks, and over indulging in calories. The healthy food here makes a difference. A salad, fruit, and a meal changed my life, one meal at a time. The love can be felt in abundance, and the people volunteering to serve these meals are some of the kindest heroes. It's amazing to see this, and I wish this level of heroic strength, open-mindedness, and generosity was across this nation.Even beyond the food, these volunteers sometimes provide care packages that handle much needed essentials, from wound care to hygiene, and the ever elusive gloves. I hope that it is known that the kind messages and sweet stickers put on these care packages are uplifting and supportive, offering optimism and hope through difficult times and moods. Thank you all!”
“Whether beginning a new life path or wanting to increase your knowledge of a purposeful life, this Center is absolutely a fantastic vehicle to accomplish either goal.”
“Awesome place that truly cares about people! They lift you up, and help you to feel good about yourself both individually and professionally. Will coordinate and give you beautiful clothing and makeup to attain employment and feel great! Five stars☺️❤️”
“"Portland Center Stage is an exceptional venue that hosts a range of captivating plays. Its offerings tend to lean towards the sophisticated & snoopy, which, while impressive, might not resonate with everyone. It would be fantastic to see them introduce plays that are a bit more accessible to the general public. Making the themes and narratives easier to grasp could help attract a broader audience, ensuring more people can enjoy the magic of live theater. Regardless, it remains a top spot for those who appreciate high-quality productions.”

3961 NE Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Portland“I work as a case manager and this place is an exceptional community resource. They take donations of furniture and household items that serve those in need. The staff seem to enjoy working there and they have committed volunteers. I enjoyed going through and helping one of our programs participants pick out what she needed for her home. She got most of the major furniture she needed, except for matresses, which they were low on. Thanks Community Warehouse!”
“About a week ago, I helped a neighbor take in a really nice table and chair set, to the **new Gresham** location and it couldn't' gone any smoother. It was actually quite enjoyable! We were greeted and assisted by a wonderful staff member whose initials are AJ (indicated on the receipt). He complimented the set and got right to work helping us onload it. He completely answered our questions about the new location and other items that they are looking for, to help people who are rebuilding their homes and their lives. He was truly passionate about his role, and it showed. As a Portland native, I have donated several items over the years to Goodwill, ARC, Habitat for Humanity, and to Our House/the Cascade Aids Project. There have been a few hiccups with the first three, declining items once I arrived; ARC telling me their website was wrong and they really don't accept camping gear, Habitat for Humanity declining an armoire because one of the doors needed work on a hinge, Goodwill declining a perfectly good futon because the painted frame made a faint gray stripe. I'm actually looking forward to going back with more items. Please check them out!”
“Great place. Several program options. Yoga, skating, swimming, bb, gym etc. Bottle water, towels, snacks available for purchase. Great front desk staff and trainers (Allen Beebe - Excellent). Friendly.”
“A fantastic place to volunteer. Cleaning books for needy readers is worthwhile. They have a new laptop & streaming music service to help pass the time as well.”
“This is an amazing resource for teachers! At the beginning of the year there are really nice materials available. As the year goes on, it is not as nice. Sometimes the staff are not super friendly, but it could just be the repetitive job they have. I appreciate being able to get things for my classroom.”

527 SE 43rd Ave, Portland“Introduced me to the mountaineering and hiking community in Portland. They run almost entirely on volunteers - to me, that is a sign of the amount of passion and devotion many members of the Mazamas hold for the organization.”

3969 NE Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Portland“My new favorite store that I wish was open on Sundays! I found the best pieces here for really great prices. For some reason I always have the urge to go on Sundays but they’re closed and I make myself sad every week haha”
“A dedicated staff of volunteers who are willing to provide the endless hours needed to help those in need make the variety of services offered here possible. The patience and dedication they demonstrate on a daily basis is truly amazing. Their non judgemental sincere concern and caring is evidence of their commitment to every individual who walks in their door asking for assistance. Instead of feeling like you are being given a handout based on pity you leave with the feeling someone honestly just wanted to give you a hand up and that they understand everyone goes through hard times. Whether it is a food box, counseling or one of the other many services they provide it is the individuals who selflessly commit their time who make this place truly special.”
“BLS course was great. Informative and hands on learning experience. This was my second time with med outreach as well as having Tim as my instructor. Will definitely be coming back for future renewals!”
