MudPuddles Toys and Books—formerly Child's Play—is a great place to get a gift for kids of any age. They have a large variety of toys to choose from. Legos, plushies, puppets, little toys here and there, board games, etc.I would recommend checking it out.

One of my favorite children's toy stores in all of Portland! A fantastic collection of everything from stuffed animals, puzzles, games, books, build kits, trinkets, and educational gifts. I rarely leave here without picking something up for my toddler son, who always enjoys whatever quirky new toy Dad brings home for him. The employees here also happen to be exceptionally sweet and welcoming, which is a huge plus. Very recommended!

Great toys. Good options. They close a little early. I was able to make it 5 minutes to close and pick a present but they didn't wrap it for me as they normally do. He said it was a little too late for them to wrap, but they gave me a sheet of wrapping paper and some tape. It literally took me a minute to do. Seemed to me a silly line in the sand for a small gesture. Minus 1.5 stars for customer service.

The cutest toy store in Portland. Free parking and close to salt and straw! They will even warp your toys for free!

A great toy store located on NW 23rd & NW Kearney. This store is filled with lots of toys and some books. As an independent toy store, it's not the toys you would find at lets say a big box store, so don't expect to find barbies or hot wheels. These toys are for learning, development, and creativity. Wooden toy trains, lots of puzzles for brain development...stuff like that. Graham was super helpful with helping me find a gift for an 8 yr old boy. Gave me a lot of options to choose from. HUGE plus is they offer FREE gift wrapping and FREE parking in their parking lot. Thanks Graham for your assistance

Lots of toys. As it should be for a toy store. The prices are decent. They are of quality. Can you get it cheaper? Yea but you get to touch and see it in physical form. And you help the business out. Store is clean and plenty of room to walk around.

Hi this place is hands down one of the best toy/game/gift shop there is in Portland. The employees are so helpful and patient with my children. It’s their favorite spot. Not only that, they also have great recommendations when you don’t know what to get for gifts. The store is really easy to look around they have great selections. Lastly, they even do the packaging for you. I wish I could tip them, I didn’t see any jar/bucket anywhere so I felt like I couldn’t express how grateful I am every time I come in here. It’s really important that my kids are having such a great time, I wish happy new year to everyone and the kind people that works here.
