I do not recommend banking with Chase Bank. I considered being a customer but after the no resolution, rude demeanor of the teller, I never will be. I went into the West Burnside location to cash a check, written by a Chase Bank customer. The teller told me that they cannot cash checks over $2500 without having an account with them, that’s somewhat understandable. I went back to the check issuer and they exchanged the larger check for 2 smaller checks. I went back to the bank with the 2 checks, with written amounts less than the $2500 limit to appease the banks policy and the teller refused to cash them. “I won’t be able to cash these, I would have to do an override and I won’t do that for you, I won’t risk my job for someone that I don’t trust.” What??? Just no, I don’t trust you? Why not offer any resolution, maybe agree to cash one of the checks?I feel that I was discriminated against by this bank/teller, this was a huge inconvenience and left me without cash I needed over the weekend. Why not offer to cash one of the checks at least? I’m guessing they could look in the account holders account to see the funds are available? Anyway, this happened a few days ago and I’m obviously still upset by the experience.

This is the friendliest Chase Bank in both Seattle, Washington and Portland, Oregon... except for that one bank teller. I don't usually go to this branch or location when that "Karen" is working. Sometimes, there is an older white woman who screams,... that "[She] is supposed to be helped before me because she is white and I'm not." I haven't been inside this Chase Bank since 2012... because it's not close to where I'm doing business. There have been multiple car crashes and accidents including pedestrians getting hit by cars and trucks at the nearby intersection. Mostly, I avoid going to the Zupan's (it's the only grocery store on this block).... that is in this plaza or outside mall area. There are better branches or locations for parking as well. I suggest taking TriMet, or getting a friend with a car to drop you off at the gas station down the street (it's on West Burnside) instead of driving your car, truck, or two wheeled motorized contraption. Don't forget this branch or location isn't open on Sundays.

This has got to be the worst Chase location in town ! From the ridiculous parking to the rude unhelpful employees inside. The atm outside has issues all the time, and when you are forced to go inside it's an absolute time waster.
