They will cancel your appointment on short notice and tell you they are coming another day even though you planned your entire schedule around the original 8 hour window you were given.

Two weeks no internet talking to a real person is impossible. They hang up on you if your issue is to complicated for them. Tell you that your service apt is a week out then not show up. Making you stay available for there 12 hour gap of time. We are heading into 3 weeks with no internet at our buisness. Unreal, claiming we can't cancel since we signed a contract. With all the reviews just here this is sounding like a class action lawsuit in the making.

No customer service. Bad internet connections. They make it almost impossible to cancel your service. Two thumbs down.

Absolutely horrible internet . I'm in the middle of town and the only time the internet works somewhat decent, is between 2am to 7am when I'm never awake. From 3pm to 9pm the internet goes down about 10-15 times. I literally have friends up in the mountains in the middle of nowhere with internet that's over 10x faster, and functions properly. Waste of money.

We have been without internet service for three weeks now. Told no one could come out sooner than today. Well today came and they cancelled our appointment without notification and when we called they said no technician was available. Now we can’t get an appointment for 10 more days!!! No compensation. No urgency. The customer service supervisor can’t directly talk to the repair team in Portland. It’s all ludicrous. We can’t work from home and the kids can’t do their online school work. No one can give us answers or offer solutions. TERRIBLE customer service.

Adding my terrible experience with CenturyLink/Quantum Fiber to the immense pile of similar ones. If you're like me and looking to improve your internet experience by leaving Xfinity for fiber, DON'T BOTHER. I was so optimistic about signing up for internet at a "Price For Life" after Xfinity increased my bill every few months while I was "in contract". What CenturyLink/Quantum Fiber don't mention, though, is that THEY WILL CHARGE YOU that "price for life" AND THEN NEVER SHOW UP FOR YOUR INSTALLATION APPOINTMENT. It is a scam and a lie. Despite notifications from CenturyLink/Quantum leading up to the appointment time, the installation window simply comes and goes, the customer support line (both phone and chat) is absolutely useless - they offer no useful information and take up your time with non-information. No one has the ability or accountability to ensure your installation happens. I have had a technician no-show four times now. I spent my entire Saturday back and forth with CenturyLink/Quantum's customer "success" team to no avail. I've selected the installation option and the cancel option in the phone tree. Doesn't matter, both useless. They have promised me a $100 rewards card and one free month of internet, but I doubt any of that will actually come to fruition, because, why would it? Notably, I have not received a credit for the service I've already paid for. I work from home and manage a team, and it is getting hard to explain why I haven't had internet this long. If I did my job the way CenturyLink and Quantum Fiber do it, I would be fired instantly.

Drove all the way downtown after hard work week, spent 50 minutes between waiting for help, trying to simply cancel, but instead fighting thru fast talk & pressure to not only to keep this lousy rip-off carrier, but to ADD services and features I don’t need or want or already have, “at special reduced prices” to keep me. HARD pass

It seems that a lot of people who work for Comcast decided to go ? let's get a job here. If only their sales department worked where the customer service and technical department worked at.Service wise it's actually been really good however they quickly stopped supporting their equipment that they're selling but that's okayWhat really bothers me is that just the other day you couldn't access their website because their security certificate expired and it's things like this that kind of worried me.And overall if you look on their Facebook or social media page it really is nothing but complaints .However the speed and service are great for fiber

Impossible to get good service. Had a technician scheduled to hook up with internet service. It was an 8-hour window so I stayed home all day with no show for the technician. I thought I had canceled my order but got a confirmation notice that I would be getting a bill. I tried to go online to chat with one of the representatives and again thought this was canceled, but never got a confirmation for the canceled account. Now I have been on the phone with Century Link for 45 minutes and still waiting to confirm that my account has been canceled.

Makes perfect sense why this corporation has awful reviews, since they clearly don't care about their customers. They recently increased my rate by $15 a month without providing any additional services. Now I'm moving and they do not reimburse or prorate for cancelling in the middle of a payment cycle (moving on the 15th but I pay on the 6th). So while I work from home, I have to cancel service early before I move to avoid paying for the remaining portion of the month when I won't be living there. They also don't provide an option to schedule a cancellation, even over the phone, so make sure you mark your calendar when you need to leave since if you're a minute late they'll charge for the full month.

I don't know why I need to add another one star review, when there are already hundreds. But how does century link even exist as a company? The customer support is complete with fabricated lies, and now I haven't been able to work from home for over a week

Periodic downtime lasting days…happens randomly about every other month. They post a resumption date then push it out everyday. No confidence whatsoever in anything they put out, 72+hours difference.
