I am apparently posting under my google name.I recommend Canyon Road Auto Body & Repair on 99W. My car died in a parking lot and I had it towed here because it was a AAA recommended shop. I was relieved that they took my car in even though I didn’t have an appointment. They fixed it up within a few days and when I asked about what other things needed work on it, they did an inspection which helped me decide whether my old car was worth spending more money on it. I asked for their advice on buying a new used car and Steve, Edgar and Thomas gave me some extremely valuable advice about what to look out for when buying a newer used car. After that, I brought 3 different cars to them for a pre-sale inspection and each time they found obvious problems that were not listed on the Carfax or revealed by the sellers. What an education! They saved me a lot of heartache and money. I ended up using their information to negotiate with the dealer to fix the problems on one for free and now have a more reliable car that I really like.

We were very pleased with our purchase experience with the Company. However we are very frustrated with the experience of using the Autobody shop where they pay our deductible. The $500 we saved is not worth spending over $2000 (and it continues to grow) for a rental car because their to busy. It took a month to get a quote (was told they work on those when they have time), a month to schedule it so they could catch up and start on mine. We dropped it off 10/23/23 and got a rental that day at our expense because Insurance only covers $750. It is now 12/12/23 and I still do not have my car. My calls were not returned and they showed no interest in how being without a car effects us. All I hear is were super busy and waiting on a part. I spoke with them Yesterday and they offered to put it back together and make it so the hood will be safe to drive why waiting for part so we can get out of the rental. I called today and spoke to them and it will be a day or two cause their busy with other stuff. I asked why since its been here since 10/23 we are not a priority especially since we bought the car there. I also asked why they didn't take the initiative to give me the option to pick up the car earlier on if they know getting the part can take so much time. Since they would not provide a loaner car I will go somewhere that does in the future. If they choose to make things right with us I will come back and update this to reflect that. My experience with sales was excellent especially since I have always purchased from our local dealership.

I had a great experience yesterday 9-14-23!! I was greeted by Myka Davis and she was fabulous!!! She helped me with a quick fix for my small fight I had with a parking garage...lol. she buffed out the paint scratches and had me get touch up paint instead of the 1200.00 bill I would have had!! Awesome customer service and will definitely be back here for my future repairs!Thank you Myka,Lisa Reed

Great service from start to end. Thank you very much specially to Mika who from the very beginning answered all my questions with detail and proper caution, then followed up on every step proactively. She was very friendly and respectful as well. Really good service from her!Services: Painting

I took my Honda Passport to Canyon Road Auto Body& Collision in May after I was hit. Kevin did the initial report and took photos. He communicated the entire process and was very kind: * AMAZING communication. * Timely repairs * Respected my wishes for my car when Gieco tried to be cheap. * Had empathy for my situation and helped me out while I was stressed out dealing with the other drivers insurance company. * Body work looks exceptional and the paint job blends in well! They went above and beyond will definitely recommend 10/10!

Everything about the process of getting my car fixed with Canyon Road Autobody was smooth. The ladies inside (I lost the business card she gave me but I believe her name was Micky?) were welcoming and helpful, explaining the process along the way, keeping me informed, and getting me an estimate and final total that was within my budget. The staff who fixed my car did a beautiful job. Thank you to everyone involved in the process! If I have any issues with my car in the future, I will definitely be back.

This place is terrible and the staff is very unprofessional and rude. I did an estimate few months back and when I called to schedule the repair, I was told by Alicia Z (very arrogant and rude person) that I need to come in for another estimate. I told her that I already did one and I want to speak to the same estimator who did my first one, then she told me that he is no longer with them. I had to reschedule another one and had to wait for 3 weeks, then I did not get a reminder and when I called Alicia, she told me that my appointment was the day I called. When I asked why I did not get a reminder, they say that are busy and they do not have time to call or send reminders. I told her that I want to speak to her manger and she transferred me to Kevin another estimator (not the manager). Anyway I made it that day and met with Kevin Mooney, who did another estimate and told me that he will e-mail me the documents and when he did, I was surprised that the prices went up by 30%, I replied to him that I still want to do the repair, but I never get a response form Kevin (very unprofessional and racist guy). I am shocked that Honda would recommend that place for their clients or any other person. that place does not know how to do business.

If you choose this company we highly recommend taking photos before and detail everything in writing as well as get them to sign and initial anything and everything you will have done and what it looks like before they start work.We were desperate, even then we shouldn't have used Canyon RD Auto body. You know its bad when you have to take your car to another repair shop after using this repair shop. After an accident this was the only place we could find to take the car right away, now we know why. They broke our dashboard console & blamed it on us, also forgot to put two air filters back in as well our air conditioner no longer worked. Horrible communication, we had to email and call they never (yes never) called either of us. As usual they try to defer or discredit "No it was you" (9350 SW Canyon rd)//WE know exactly what you did as described above, seriously if their reply below doesn't say enough right through the end? **Update in the end we just took the loss and got rid of the vehicle rather than have to deal with this company 9350 SW Canyon rd, it was easier than continuing to get the run around. If you do end up using them, highly recommend taking photos before

This was the worst experience ever. They as other reviewers indicated were rude, misleading and in some instance lied about things. After my accident which was a T-bone to my 2012 Honda Accord on the drivers and left passenger side doors only they wrote an estimate of over $9,000. This was submitted to Amy insurance company with no indication they would not be able to repair. Ins. reviewed est. which was adjusted down to a little over $7,000. This was approved and I assumed repairs were in progress. A week later a got a call from my adjuster saying my car was a total. The body shop had written a supplemental estimate of almost $13,000. Adjuster said shop told her they talked to me and sent me copy of this change. This was a total lie. Adjuster said if I could get estimate down the repairs could take place. I went to shop and talk to one of the estimators(name to remain anonymous). He took me to see my car. To my surprise to trashed. Not only did they rip apart the door and inside interior of doors they took off both the front and rear bumpers to include headlights. He said that was for painting purposes. I asked why they would do this before they had authorization for repair per new estimate. His response was that’s just what we do. After discussion he agreed to go over estimate to see if reductions possible and call me the next day after discussion with machining. I informed my adjuster and waited for a call that didn’t come. I called him back and it was at this time they said they could get a door part. This was a damaged part that was clearly visible at the time of the initial estimate. I was not happy they now had my car which was clearly drivable now far from it. I asked him why they would tear my car apart if they knew the parts were not availed. He changed to say the part is on back order with no estimate of delivery. Again, misleading information. He then said they did not want to work with me because of my attitude and that they would put the bumpers back on and I could come get my car. This is a shop and employees that are not only not honest but have no ethics or take no responsibility for their actions. If are smart you won’t go anywhere near this shop.Service: Body & Trim

I cannot thank Canyon Road Auto Body enough for all their help, from start to finish! From the body shop manager Chuck and the estimator Alicia, explaining how everything was going to work step by step, how quickly their parts guy Larry was able to get everything here and Liberty for continuing to keep me in the loop each day with the progress. Dealing with an auto accident and back and forth with an insurance company is never fun but I appreciate the entire team so much for everything in this process! My car looks brand new again, thank you!Services: Body & Trim

Wow, what a trip one of the two receptionists was just now. I set out today to grab a couple estimates from my insurance company's contracted shops. I checked reviews first and was disappointed to see that Canyon Road Auto Body got poor reviews, because they're within walking distance of my home. I wanted to stop in anyway, to get a feel for them myself and see how their estimate racked up against the other one I got. I get along with people better than most and wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. I pulled up and walked in. The first gal was on the phone, but gave me a friendly wave. I was ready to wait. They had estimate forms on a table in front of her. I grabbed a pen, but she silenced her call for a second to tell me to hold up on that... ok. A curly-haired gal was in the cubicle next to this first lady, and asked if she could help. I asked if they were doing walk-in estimates and was told they're booking estimates two months out, so I asked for a card. She said she didn't have any - for real? I asked for a sticky-note and she basically said she didn't have those, either, and didn't know why I needed a sticky-note because she didn't know why I'd need to write anything down. Whoa! Well, maybe she likes to conserve trees. To an extreme. Another shop I'd just been to told me to call back in March to book an estimate, and so the way she said they were booking two months out had me thinking I needed to come back later. It definitely wasn't a welcoming feeling. I said "because my memory isn't that good and I want to remember to call back in February." Then she proceeds to tell me the gal next to her can schedule an estimate for February. Well, that's what I'd been waiting for before this gal stepped up with her rude a**! I chuckled to myself and told her I was beginning to understand the reviews they'd gotten. I thought for a moment and decided it best to leave well enough alone. A previous review from Meredith H. got it right: "one of the worst customer service experiences I've had." I'm disappointed because they would have been a handy shop to use, but I don't deal with rude people. If my truck wasn't 19 years old, purchased new, I could use my go-to body shop that I've used since I started driving 40 years ago, but they're so good they no longer use any after-market parts, and they can't get all OEM parts for my old truck. Now I get to experience how "other" shops operate... yay.
