Don’t be fooled by how nice these people seem to be. They damaged two of my high-end cars & charged me over $4000. left me with more damage afterwards. The office manager is a really nice guy, but he can’t manage for the incompetent technicians. The part owner thinks he’s a master technician for Mercedes. either him or someone on his team completely ruined my accelerator pedal which caused it to completely fail. Luckily I was on a local road, and was able to find a local specialist that knows what they’re doing on Mercedes and fixed it completely for $400. This Mechanic also said the $3000 they charged me for work was not necessary. It’s great when you finally find an honest mechanic who knows what they’re doing.
These jokers at Botta😳😳. My Ferrari is still left with damage that I’m trying to get parts to fix. I ended up going to the Ferrari dealer to get it done properly. These Botta people are the stereotypical con-artist wannabe mechanics.

Little bit of an update ... After about a year and 5-7k the same issues persist and I agree with the other guy .. here communication has taken a nose dive
My goal was to ensure the vehicle i had was mechanically sound and suitable for potentially having some fun with .. over the course of the year there's a hesitation that only I apparently notice a misfire only I can feel and an oil leak only I can see and as far as really doing anything outside the box these guys are unfortunately very close minded ....and I get all of this I do I've had to run construction crews in some of the most violent parts of the city without response from law enforcement I've had to reassure my guys that we don't need guns at work and that they are overwhelmed and don't need us adding to it
I feel some things could change like communication and I feel the potential is there to be the shop I know they are
This isn't a screw these guys I'm pissed review it's not the work is trash or anything like that it's I think it's an organization and communication issues.... And it's the holidays as well ... Unfortunately I'll be reaching out to a few other shops to go through my vehicle just to cross the t and dot the i ... I don't feel scammed Im not upset ....just want to have 100% reassurance that the vehicle is 100% before I start making financial commitments again
Would like the results of the oil analysis sent to me when u get around to it ..thank you
If u guys need anything don't hesitate to ask... When the time comes to come back around record's will be available for u
Thank u for ur hospitality and excellent work ... Look forward to doing business with u in the future

Updated, after my third call to the shop without any return calls following my voicemails: If you would like to leave your vehicle for a month and not get any updates about it unless you call the shop multiple times, send emails, write bad Google reviews, then this is the place for you. Otherwise, literally any other shop is probably a better choice.
Updated, Monday after post below: Thanks for the call on Friday. You indicated my vehicle would be ready today and I've not heard from you. I have left two voicemails and can't get through and you don't call back. It feels like you're holding my vehicle hostage. The holidays begin tomorrow and I presume you will be closed, preventing me from getting my vehicle for even longer. Tomorrow you will have had my vehicle for two weeks to fix two leaks. Please contact me.
Hi guys. You've had my car for like ten days and you haven't updated me about it since I approved additional service on Tuesday. It's Friday. I've left multiple voicemails and emailed you. Could you contact me?

I’ve been taking my BMW x5 to Botta moto works for years. I think since shortly after they opened in 2010. I’m on my second x5 at this point and still going back. I can’t say enough good things about this shop. What has brought me back over the years is their level of service and I feel that the owner Casey really cares about his customers. Also it’s obvious when talking to him that he’s passionate about his craft. Being a female that doesn’t know much about vehicles it’s always been intimidating to bring my car to a mechanic. Casey or a member of his team has always taken the time to thoroughly explain things and given me options, when possible. They have even gone out of their way to come pick me and my car up when I broke down on my way to have a problem looked at, got my car to the shop on its last legs, fixed the problem and got me on my way. Most recently I had a battery drain warning. No obvious issue revealed itself. After a considerable amount of time trying to pinpoint the drain it ended up being one of the automatic door handles. An expensive fix for a door handle but they let me know it doesn’t need to be fixed right away and it’s okay to wait. Again that kind of honesty and exceptional service is why I keep going back to Botta, I’ll be a customer for life.
Thank you Casey and your team, I appreciate you guys!

I had a mishap and my rear view mirror fell off, my friend mishandled it. I googled them and given their reviews I took my porsche there. The variety of luxury cars that they work ok gave me the confidence in them. The person who attended me was super helpful and he within seconds clipped back the mirror. He didn't even charge for it which is super nice of him! If inwas living in Portland, they'd be my independent auto shop outside of dealership service center, especially for luxury performance cars. These guys know what they doing!

First time stopping in at Botta for some service and was extremely happy with the level of service I received. The guys took their time to explain the process for the service I needed, which was more than the MB service center at the dealer did. I knew I was leaving my car in excellent and more than capable hands. Received friendlier and more courteous service than the MB service center, too. I highly recommend these guys. I They truly care about your car as much as you do. Will come to Botta for all future services.

Wanted to find out about their services offered, but every time I call, they never answer the phone. I also left a message and no one calls me back.

These guys are incredible! Not only did they service my Aston Martin, but they also got it done 2 weeks faster than initially mentioned. The atmosphere is very inviting and Clint will get your service requests done in a timely manner. Casey is also one of the best technicians I have ever worked with and will pull extra hours in just to get the job done! Thank you guys, I genuinely appreciate your hard work.Services: Vehicle Inspection

We took a BMW here for a pre-sale inspection and they were very thorough and transparent with what needed to be done and when. The vehicle needed breaks and rotors urgently and they were able to order the necessary parts and do the install within a few hours for us (having two mechanics working on it at once!) so we could get on the road. To top it all off, the price was incredibly fair and the employees were so personable and kept us entertained while we waited! We aren’t local to Portland but if we were this is the only place we’d take our cars.Services: General repairs & maintenance

I had a very good experience at Botta. I felt they really cared about my car. It's a great relief to find a shop that works on Aston Martins. They took me out to the shop to show me the problem with the car and were very communicative on what needed to be done.

When I first came to botta, I was impressed by how friendly and welcoming everyone was to both me and my son. I brought in my car for something small and they fixed it while I waited. I felt confident in coming back and recommending them to friends. I even felt compelled to write a glowing review. But my experience afterward changed dramatically. I brought back my car for a valve cover replacement and another problem that they had a difficult time solving. Instead of doing a proper diagnostic test, they went with the solution that had worked for other people. They charged me 400 for a part I didn't need and which didn't solve the problem. I had to return several times because of the unsolved problem, and another smaller issue that was a part that was put on in a very rushed, half-done manner. I called for three weeks to get the part I needed, and they didn't return my phone calls. I finally just showed up at the shop where they put on the cover for my ignition but it still wasn't done properly. It was falling off when I took my key out, and the clips that held it in place had been left on the floor of the car several times. While dealing with these issues, they went through two different receptionists- the first one called me "honey" several times, was presumptive about my financial situation, interrupted me when I spoke and wouldn't listen to my concerns. The second and current receptionist asked me several very pointed and personal questions, tried to placate me with coffee and being disingenuously nice until finally, he made me cry with his rudeness. The main problem with the car is still unfixed and unresolved and I was told by the owner that he has already spent more time on my car than he felt he needed to. Finally, they tried to charge me for another diagnostic test- which I agreed to, but I was told on the phone that they "hit my key fob on the ground and that made the key work this time, so no charge." To top it all off, after the final time I went back I looked under the hood and found that a small screw driver had been left near the battery. It was in a place that luckily didn't damage the engine, but could've resulted in causing some serious problems. I can't imagine a worse scenario where everything went from "this place is so great!" to I hope I never deal with these people again." Almost everything about my experience was unfortunate when it came to actually fixing my car. I do not recommend botta.
