I'll start off by saying the people at the front counter were just awesome! Eric, the person who assisted me with my bicycle needs, is very intelligent and helped me pick out what I needed. There's one guy here though that spoils the punch pretty hard though. He told me verbatim "absolutely do not bring your bicycle in here, it will not help us" weeeellll I got almost all wrong parts as a result. Then he came down and started openly yapping about how my style of bicycle was bad and that he tells people to return them. Another employee had to apologize on his behalf for being rude. I would drive all the way back to return my parts but I'm going to go ahead and call it a wash. Getting rid of this guy would help the joint out a lot

I ordered a tire from Specialized on April 9 and am still waiting on it. Supposedly will be here in Portland by April 18. Right now it is in Idaho. It's definitely taking its time. These days, that's slow, and I paid $9 for shipping. An overall negative experience buying from Specialized, especially since the website gives the impression that the wheels will be turning quicker than they are. It actually took 48 hours before Specialized even turned it over to FedEx. Two days to process an order.
I then ordered a tire from Bike Tires Direct and the next AM went to the warehouse and picked it up, hassle free. Or I could have had it delivered well before the tire from Spesh arrives, and for free.
Great service from BTD.

I have purchased from BikeTiresDirect for years. They always have the lowest prices and a full selection. When you call tech support, you wait a minute or less typically and then speak to a biker in the USA who knows bikes, and bends over backward to support you on an issue. This is one of the great USA companies.

These guys are great! Ordered some Carbon Wheels and a few other items online on Friday about noon. Early afternoon Bike Tires Direct called to confirm and verify the order and answer any questions. Here it is Saturday AM and my stuff will be delivered this afternoon by UPS. Great service and fast. Pretty decent prices too! Whoever said fast, good, and cheap - pick two never dealt with Bike Tires Direct. They have now replaced Amazon for my bike supply needs.

I had a warranty issue, and when I emailed them, they exchanged the product -no questions asked. They even paid for the return shipping. I am so impressed with their customer service, and I will be ordering my bike parts from them from now on. Thanks!!

They don't honor warranties! I purchased 2 Continental bike tires on 5-6-22. I took my bike to the shop on 3-4-23, 8 month old tires. They discovered cracks in the sidewalls on both tires. I sent pictures to Bike tires direct. They refused to replace the tires. They blamed it on everything dry rotting (they're not old enough, unless they set in their warehouse for several years), road conditions. These tires shouldn't be that fragile, their excuses are total bs. They'll sell to you all-day, but if you have a problem your on your own. Buy from someone else and save yourself from being scammed. I'm done with those crooks. They do business under several phone numbers online. BUYER BE WARE !

To follow up on my brothers experience, BE CAREFUL! I would avoid this store, they post misleading and fake ads and customer service is terrible. There are other stores. Do not take the risk. I see I am not the only one who has experienced such duplicity. I purchased the pictured item as a christmas gift. CLEARLY in the photo this item is advertised as a pair. I received only one. At no point before hitting "ADD TO CART" is it made clear this is for only 1 lever. When I called to make the store aware, the staff were EXTREMELY rude, suggesting that the price itself should have informed me of this fact and laughed. I am not a bicycle expert. This is not at all clear to anyone (please reference the photo should you disagree). The customer service representative laughed. I'm glad he thinks that ruining a persons Christmas gift is funny. The customer service representative was extremely rude and the service was no existent. This is purely and simply misleading posts, designed to con a customer into a purchase. It seems to be a popular theme in these reviews. Go elsewhere. There are much better options.
