I was a loyal member for years and years and recently cancelled because this is the second time that prices have increased outside of my contractual obligation which is a breech of contract. There was no sympathy from corporate about the situation and I was never asked for feedback which is disheartening as I have been a loyal client for 6 years. In my experience our membership includes access to the Pearl which has not been opened in months and it's closure is impacting class sizes at the Southeast studio which are incredibly full and I am always waitlisted on the weekend, the studio always has something going on with the water station and the cleanliness is subpar. On top of that, the front desk is not always privvy to corporate happenings like new class schedules. Also, if you attend Monday/Wednesday or Tues/Thursday after work then your classes will consistently be the same so the workout gets routine quite quickly. On top of that, I feel that when I give feedback the studio is always on the defensive but the reality is, a membership is incredibly expensive and the experience does not warrant the price. Not to mention the breach of contract that has happened 2 consecutive years now. While the teachers are amazing the studio needs to work on client experience and take care of long time clients.

What a fun place and a great workout. I went to visit my yoga teacher - and stayed for her barre class. Jamie is a gem and wonderful all around.

Love this place! Love all the classes but especially love the mindful flow class and really really like Meredith! She is really great at giving lots of modifications in all the classes she teaches for those of us with lower skill levels and abilities.

I love Barre3 classes! Never been much of a traditional gym type of person and these are the perfect alternatives. I can feel and see results from staying consistent with these classes and they're so enjoyable that I actually do stay consistent! 10/10 would recommend

I've been a member of Barre3 for almost six months. I love coming to the classes, they're challenging in the best way possible. It’s sometimes a hit or miss with the friendliness of the staff, however for the most part the environment is very welcoming. One of my favorite classes they’ve held is their BIPOC class. I wish they had more of these classes instead of just offering them monthly.Overall, I would recommend Barre3 and taking a class, the first one is free!

I love barre3! Each instructor creates a unique workout that you can modify to meet your needs according to how you are feeling each day.

I am thoroughly enjoying the dynamic workout and how extremely accessible the classes are. I’ve never felt more comfortable in a group exercise setting. I am very thankful I found Barre 3.

Barre3’s Southeast location provides a perfect balance between rigorous workouts and encouraging instruction. It’s a safe environment in which to push yourself and do what’s best for your body. I’ve loved classes with Jamie, Cayla, Stacy, and D’nece; they are all unique and all wonderful. If you’re getting interested in fitness and aren’t sure where to start, this is a great entry point.

I love Barre3! I have benefitted remarkably from this mindful, functional movement--my posture and strength have improved dramatically, and it greatly helps my stress. In fact, it's the only exercise class that I've stuck with consistently. All of the teachers and staff are friendly, conscientious, knowledgeable and respectful. The message is very much about taking up space and listening to your body.

I have been so happy with Barre3. Loved every class I have taken and I am so much stronger than I started. Will continue for as long as I can. I hope they get childcare again. Need more childcare during the week.

I took my first ever barre class at this location and enjoyed it! The staff was very welcoming and it felt like there was a great sense of community there. Upon first walking in, the receptionist was very friendly and introduced me to my instructor, who then gave me a brief tour of the studio and showed me the space she reserved for me in class (already prepped with a towel, resistance band, and a core ball).Christa was a great, enthusiastic instructor for the Signature 60 class. The class itself was a good workout that combines cardio, strength, and mindfulness. My only complaint is that the class was quite full! Although everyone had enough space to comfortably move during the strength and cardio segments on the floor, it was pretty crowded. I couldn't extend my arms while laying down on the mat during the core segment without touching the people on either side of me, preventing me from deepening my stretches.

Barre3 would be absolutely perfect.....if they hadn't gone back to packing their classes like sardines in a can. The crowded classes may be just one factor at first glance but can cause a myriad of problems. The classes are sometimes so full that the floor is wet from everyone's sweat and it becomes noticeably slippery in the end. I even slipped on once but fortunately caught myself by stepping on a mat which stopped my fall.I've been going here for ten years, on and off, and tend tostop when I experience going to crowded class because it feels weird - even pre-pandemic. I've given this feedback before but nothing has really been done about it outside of the pandemic. They've acknowledged it but in a way that says, "Oh, we totally hear you and we'll do our best!" But with no real intention to?Yeah. Not sure why they won't just add more classes throughout the day. To put it bluntly, there are enough fellow privileged humans who don't have to work and can make it to a class anytime in the morning or early afternoon.Other than that the crowds that make you feel like you're taking the last workout class on earth before aliens gobble us all up, Barre3 has always been a phenomenal space and community with great vibes. Strenuous workouts which don't make you feel like you're about to die and instead make you feel like a badass. Just wish there was a way to find out if a class will be crowded or not so I can still have reasonable boundaries! For the amount of money we pay each month, there doesn't need to be over 20 people in a class.
