Extremely unprofessional bank. Zero (ineffective) communication between branches and between branches and Corporate. Different answers to the same question between branches. Sluggish, unresponsive processes.And the worst of it is - they don't seem particularly concerned with this performance.

Worst Bank I've experienced. I went there one month before my mortgage was due to set up auto pay and deposit 3 months of payments in the checking account to transfer to loan. The transfer was NEVER set up i learned when the mortgage was due. I went back to the bank. When I left I asked "is everything set up now?" The response was "Yep, as long as you have money to transfer. " I thought that was a strange comment. Now, today 2 transfer for the loan is in pending. And I honestly think this was done on purpose by the Bank Rep. Something as simple as setting up auto pay from the checking account to loan has been a hassle.I can not cancel the extra charge online. So now I need to wait until Monday to see if I can get 1 mortgage payment to go back to my checking account. I only want to use this bank to auto pay my mortgage and it can't even do that. No customer service over the weekend is frustrating.

I have a long story about Banner Bank giving me bad checks that ruined my credit score. Then they refuse to take the blame or do anything about it. And then they try to charge me for using a technician to figure out the problem. Worst bank ever

I just left this bank extremely disappointed. I was treated very poorly, no apology for an obvious computer error on their end, no interest in correcting the errors, barely a hello, no eye contact, no common courtesy, 2 surprise fees before paying off the loan- all done with absolutely zero kindness. The woman was incredibly rude and terrible at customer service. It was painful for her to even say hello, let alone how painful it was for her to guide me through the computer glitches (which made me come down and talk to them in person). “Sorry to have inconvenienced you in any way” is generally the go-to for good business. One person can clearly affect an entire loan experience. There are much better banks in town.

In my opinion, my experience with Banner Bank is by far the worst banking experience I have ever had. The entire time I was attempting to secure a construction-to-mortgage loan, I felt like my goals, my objectives, my preferences, and my qualifications were not taken into consideration. Despite asking countless times for consistent (and appropriate) communication channels, I felt ignored the entire time. When I reference appropriate, I do not consider a one-off text message outside of traditional business hours to be an appropriate channel of communication. Between the sheer lack of communication, the ignoring of my requests to increase communication, the fact that our banker took my personal banking documentation home to complete during off-work hours (in a setting which led me to believe that my information could have very easily been compromised), I couldn't have gotten out of my arrangement there fast enough. I would not recommend this establishment to any colleagues who have banking needs.

We have been banking with Banner bank for several years, and there is no comparison to the level of service and professionalism compared to our past banking experiences with another national bank.
